That means dealer can really screw us if they like to and you can't do anything about it. That kinda suck. Hope my dealer is trustworthy. They said I am in their 41st queue and confidently saying that I should get my Lightning on 2022 with that number.
But would the dealer take your queue, ignore your pro order and just order what their rich customer want? Would be nice if you can demand order be placed directly right into Ford ordering system (if there is such sysyem) in front of you. This way your "lowly" model pro doesn't get passed to...
Seems consistent with sundancer. A little low for my liking but what can u do. I mean just don't go thru >2ft deep flooded road/trail. I guess ev motor don't like water much. I wish ford has immersible electric motor like those pumps used for sewage. These immersible pumps can run either...
The 100 yr flood ravaged South West BC the pass 2 days and flooded lots of roads. I was wondering how deep can a lightning truck go without short circuiting it.
Any ideas?
not to take away your enthusiasm to park you future lightning inside your garage, but so as to let you know...GM still says all Bolt owners should park their vehicles outside immediately after charging and should not leave their vehicles charging inside overnight. There have been a number of...
I'm not comfortable parking lightning inside the garage for fear of accidental battery burning and taking down your home and possibly loveones. I know it's very rare but....
22" wheel more so for aesthetic. got a friend with a top of the line RAM 1500 with a 22" wheel and they look very nice! it maybe flexible for its usefulness but i find small 18" wheel on a full size pick-up proportionally too small & makes the overall appearance kinda look degraded IMO. maybe...
will the Iced Blue Silver won't look dirty easily? i am considering this although i voted stone gray due to not noticeable when grimed & also more of a subdued color. i got tired of stone gray already while just waiting....LOL i am now heavily considering IBS but worried it maybe too light to...
I was thinking pretty much like you. Curious how ford will translate this technology to an electric motor driven axle. I could be wrong but I thought the process for this safety feature is to "tame" the vehicle by automatically slowing down the rear wheels independent from each other to correct...
I think you didn't misunderstood me. Stability control is logically the anti fishtail I was looking for. This is the feature that makes you go straight and prevent getting vehicle from spinning out if control usually cause by oversteering on a slick road. Thanks!
M also from Canada. Got mine on the 14th hour and my estimate based on thread #454 I am 25,000th. If 1st year production estimate of 15K units is true, I won't get mine til 1st quarter 23. Hope Ford can increase production to above 40K units and I can get mine in mid August 22.
Hey Steffan, i am actually in Surrey but we are considered coastal climate and relatively mild winter. Do you plan on getting SR or ER? I see your driving narrative looks like you only need SR. For now, I am leaning toward SR.
Also did you enlist on the lightning reservation thread? I am now...
