Yes, to do it right you need a Zen A2B. The DSP isn't a requirement as you can feed the outputs from the Zen to multiple amps and set crossovers there but the DSP will give you more control and capabilities. My plan for a high sound quality system replacement (Once I've saved up the 5k+ to pay...
Yep, my speedo is off as well. Could fix it with forscan or I can keep driving it this way and show about 8% less miles then I actually have and let me warranties last that much longer. Its on the dealership as far as I'm concerned. They sold me the truck and they did the customization.
I have a very similar setup and the recalibration worked fine on mine. No issues with any of the sensors, intelligent cruise, lane centering, or anything else.
I have the same color Lariat Powerboost with the same sticker. Used my heat gun and peeled it off. Had 3M Adhesive remover ready but literally didn't leave anything behind. Came off simply.
Had to use an LC2i in my 2011 Explorer with Sync for the same reason. They work well. You could also use an AudioControl amp as most of them have the same bass returning circuitry.
They rubbed on a 4" lift but only with compression of the shock/strut. On level ground, no rub at full crank. On a 2.5" I just don't know with that offset.
I doubt they will fit without major trimming. I had to do some minor felt and plastic and valance trimming to clear 35x12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler on Fuel Maverick 20x9 +1mm offset with a BDS 4" lift.
Love it. Sounds like an amazing system. So many people want 3000 watts in 2 15” subs and that’s it. An amazing balanced system like that will put out beautiful, studio quality sound (well as good as you can get in a moving vehicle) with solid bass without having to be heard two blocks away lol...
My plan once I save up the cash for it is a dream audio setup for my dream truck I now have. Gonna swap out the front door woofer, A pillar tweeter, and front dash mid (and most likely the center channel mids) with FOCAL Flax Evo 3 way component setup. The rear doors will be swapped out with...
1. Did your install get done by the dealer, and if not did the installer do the adjustments to the speedo and any other affected system?
Yes, they did Speedo and a relearn on the other Active Assist systems. Lights auto adjust so nothing to do there.
2. I’m going to go with the Fox 2.5 CO...
Exactly. I bought mine from the dealer and their customs shop did the lift and tires/wheels. They did the Speedo recalibration before giving it back. No way a dealer hands you a truck they did the work on that is off. They would get killed for it, and also, your truck would end up showing...
Been doing between 14 to 19 depending on how much I grandma it and work the electric miles. Considering most F150's with a 4" lift and 35" Nitto's are getting between 11-15 i'd say the hybrid is doing better. And like the other poster said, I was told the computer will learn and it should get a...
It's not quite the same thing. You can definitely make it sound better with the bass boost and I did that for years. Only reason I switched to using LC2i's is after seeing a spectrum analyzer showing the signal from the OEM head unit and watching the bass spectrums fall right out completely as...
Difference between the LOC and an LC2i is you can fix the bass roll off that OEM radio's have with the LC2i which makes a big difference with aftermarket subs.
I have a 2021 Lariat 4x4 with a 4" BDS lift and 35x12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They are currently sitting at about 40psi. They are Load F certified so I see they can go all the way up to 80psi. This weekend I took the family to Vegas so had 4 adults and baggage loaded. My tires do not...
