Why are you guys so cringe. Everything is so secretive nowadays and there’s no transparency. Post what ya like, if you don’t like it move along. This forum isn’t property of Ford nor the dealers.
I've had both std and premium. Line-X offers, Std, Premium, Pro or whatever which is like for work trucks, and Platinum which is a mix of Pro and Premium. Premium was much nicer than the std in my experience, and it was like $150 more if I can recall, id go that or all out for platinum.
Do it From Factory, I've had from factory, Line-X (both premium and std), and drop-ins. Factory ones are by the far the best, Premium Line-X close second but makes 0 sense if ordering. Plus Line-X often spray over hooks and tie downs depending on location which is dumb.
You guys do get that flipping isn't anything knew and now everyone is like, what!? Remember the Thunderbird haha. And it's my customer order not someone else's.
Glad I screenshotted it. Ya know its funny how Ford tells the dealers "Don't be deceptive." Yet, they're engaged in shady work by telling them to remove it.
With that logic, flipping houses shouldn't be allowed either. Not sure why everyone is defending Ford or specifically the dealers. Dealers make money because there is a thing called invoice. Pretty much all are selling well over that, which means instant profit. If Ford really cared, maybe they...
I was planning on flipping it 2-3 months after purchase, but will have to see according to that new document. It doesn't say the dealer has to include that language in the agreement or add a new document to the purchase, but Ford will definitely allow it, at least up to 1 year.
I believe it's off the total price of the vehicle +/- taxes you pay on it. I don't even think I will qualify for the $7500 to begin with.
Here's some info on it:
