The only issues that some have had including myself was with FORScan changes to the APIM, IPC & IPMA. That's not to say everyone will have issues but any mods done on those modules should be reverted to avoid any configuration mismatches and/or update failures.
FORSkin? lmao. Some people were affected by FORScan changes in the IPC, IPMA and APIM and it is advised to revert back to allow for a smoother update and to avoid configuration mismatches. The choice is yours...
@FordConvert
It is NOT! Only revert the changes you made, do NOT do a full "Load All" and write all! Prior OTA updates may have made changes you're unaware of and this can make matters worse!
I'm tagging @Jesse-Infotainment & @iceman77 for their thoughts on this. So far you've reverted your FORScan changes and the DTC was resolved for the configuration issue but, a PMI hasn't worked and the update no longer shows in the SW tab correct?
It's going in my guide. Right now it's only limited to the IPC and APIM modules. I've tagged @Livnitup in a previous post as there have been several reported issues I helped resolve based on the error that popped up during the updates.
I went back and looked through the 5 posts you made and saw this. Let me ask you a question, have you tried another 64GB USB stick maybe a USB 3.0 one?
@Livnitup I have now confirmed that FORScan changes to the APIM & IPC are causing update issues for some people. I believe that these mods may be causing OTA problems as well.
