For purchasing I will go wherever the best deal is. Its the service that you want that long term relationship built up. Case in point the platinum I have on order now is coming in about 1500 miles away. For the amount I saved on it I can fly up there and have a nice drive back getting to know...
looks like the massage seats is only available in the Platinum, and since thats a requirement for the wife I would likely go with the platinum. If the massage seats is an option on the Lariat plus then I would likely go that route.
Then I don't think we can really compare the sync 3 to the sync 4 system I am inclined to believe daemonic3's post about it being wireless. Hopefully we can get confirmation from a super duty with a sync 4 and/or a dealer finally taking the initiative to figure out what parts are needed to make...
my question would be is that super duty picture with a Sync 4 or one of the older ones with a sync 3? I am curious if the newer super duty trucks with the sync 4 still have 7 wires populated or not.
Just noticed on the Ford Accessory site there was a new revision to the Trailer TPMS/Camera part number. I wonder if they finally got the system revised for the 21 F150's Part number now ends with "F" instead of "E" as posted earler in this thread. New PN# is ML3Z-1A189-F...
I had the same problem with my last truck. I could pull my boat and my equipment trailer with a 90hp cab tractor with mower all over the state but as soon as I mention a travel trailer at half the weight, the internet weight police were all over me about needing a WD hitch.
I think most of us are still waiting on our trucks. If I ever get mine I will do more research but without it in hand there isn’t a whole lot to be done.
I am still waiting on my truck too so can't really advise what it needed yet. I am following this thread myself hoping someone who already has their truck will chime in
it comes in a bag with the truck I think usually in the glove box. And is included in the max tow package but think its actually part of the tow technology package.
I think with the picture of only 2 wires going into the plug we can already conclude the F-150 got the short end of the stick for some reason.
I am just wondering now if we can enable it and add the wires. Or if there is other hardware involved that is missing as well
