I get the tax credit but it doesn’t make sense why that qualifies for it and the traditional lease doesn’t. It must be a lot more expensive to do Ford options vs leasing, to the point where it might even negate the tax credit.
What is the difference between leasing and ford options? Doesn’t make any sense to me. Sounds like a way ford will get more money out of you vs a traditional lease?
I got one as well but only for 41k! Kinda strange with a top tier credit rating and income above average. I guess I’ll have to settle for a pro instead of lariat!
Agreed, I’m more concerned if I’m sleeping or not at home while the truck is charging and we have a storm or an accident that knocks power out. I have a saltwater fish tank that would be nice to be backed up instead of the temporary backups I have now on it, plus the fridge/freezer is extra...
So is there anyway to automatically power your house with the pro SR? I’d love to get the ER battery but I’m not paying an extra +30k for it. I’m fine with the SR only being able to power the house for a shorter time than the ER.
Am I missing something with the range? Isn’t 230-300 with 1000lbs payload already? I remember seeing leaks stating that the ER showed around 460 miles on the dash with no payload. Was this not true?
Also, has anyone gotten an email from ford to order today? I called my dealer trying to order...
I’ve been trying to change but that puts me at the back of the line with any new dealer. So I either pay the 5k ADM and take delivery summer 2022 or pay msrp and wait until most likely 2024.
All American Ford Paramus is now at a $5000 ADM. These dealers are getting out of hand.
I too have a cyber truck on order, I really wanted the lightning but looks like I’m canceling my order (or flipping it) and will keep my Model Y and cyber truck, ford dealers are blowing it.
Tom’s Ford has changed their agreement and now charging $2500 ADM. wonder if a lot of other dealers will do the same or charge even more before delivery.
The dealer is known to do shady work. I’ve already emailed 8 somewhat local dealers in surrounding states, every dealer seems to be full. I guess my early reservation number doesn’t matter and there’s no way for me to get a lightning in 2022? Really disappointing from Ford.
Just spoke with my dealer, Porter Ford in Newark DE, $5,000 ADM. They told me Ford is forcing them to do it, even the sales manager has to pay it and if I try to switch dealers I lose my spot in line. They have 25 allocations and I’m 1 of them. Any dealers in the area willing to sell at MSRP...
