This is all true, but you have to consider that the truck is taking up valuable stall space as you cannot hook up the 12V charger and FDRS computer in the parking lot. So while the truck is sitting in a bay, they cannot work on another vehicle in that bay. And you are asking the dealership to...
The only folks I've seen say they have the SOC% are those with the big 15" screens in the Lariat or Platinum trims. I too have an XLT and got a flurry of updates in the previous month and stalled a couple prior to 6.8 which is the one that adds the SOC%
It seems to me that the threat would be a device that could be used like a credit card skimmer. If it's reading the transmissions between your truck and the charger and you are using Plug and Charge, what would stop them from spoofing your truck's information and charing using Plug and Charge...
It does not fix the error with pages not loading on IOS 18 Beta 3. Just tried. Only thing I see that it add is some intro information on the changes they made on 5.0 and didn't tell anyone where to find the odometer reading and what that fan icon means on the front of the app (remote start).
I updated my iPhone to IOS 18 Beta 3 last night. Prior to that the app was working, after updating the OS, the app would not load secondary pages last night. However, it seems to be working this morning. Strange...
Could you please take a look at VIN 1FTVW1EL3PWG41194 ? I was getting updates pretty frequently for two weeks. Then last week I received notifications 4 times that there would be an update overnight. It would not tell me what the update was and would not let me install it immediately. Said it...
I drove from NE Florida to south FL for the 4th of July weekend (about 550 miles round trip). There are plenty of options for charging along I-95 between EA, Tesla, FPL, and ChargePoint. The Tesla stations were full or nearly full which made finding two stalls to pull my truck into impossible...
That does not look OEM. That looks like it's been added after the fact or something. That rough non-uniform area around the "magnet" does not look like it was molded like the rest of the plastic.
It does if
If they suspect they are going to break your truck doing an update it might explain it. Or one of the updates corrupted something that then kept you from getting more OTA updates. That seems likely also since 3 of the updates I recently received said they were to make communication...
Could be the charging cable or plug. Could be the temp of your batteries. Could be that another vehicle is using the other cable on that charger (they split the current between the two at EA I think). How long are you leaving it connected? It does take a few minutes for it to fully ramp up to...
To me, it is obvious that Ford was having issues either with updates being pushed to the trucks or breaking something in the trucks. I guess the third option is that there were higher priority software issues that they needed to get fixed before getting the updates pushed out. In any case, I...
I used all of my credits already, but the location for the Blue Oval Network information moved on the app update so that might be why you cannot find it. Try clicking on the silhouette icon (head and shoulder icon) on the top right of your FordPass phone app. Then click connected services and...
Yeah, I don't think it should take that long. My truck was parked in the drive way for about 30 minutes and it updated during that time. Make sure you manually turn your headlights off, set the parking brake, and lock the doors. Those are the preconditions in the manual and what Ford Support...
This looks like the CCF-T from Dometic that does NOT fit in Lightnings or ICE F-150s after 2021. Our console is smaller and does not have a 12V plug inside of it. Dometic has a newer edition that does fit, requires more drilling and only fits 16.9oz bottles and not 20oz bottles.
