I used the built in nav this week for the first time. My cluster i have set to calm and each turn sequence i would get the strobe affect flashing the directions on the calm screen. I also get a loud 2 second screech from the speakers right before she announces the directions to take.
I did have...
I haven't made it to page 407 yet. ? Thanks for that tip, I will definitely check that out as I have not made any changes, I'm guessing it is set to the default. I agree on the dielectric, I put it on very minimal and wipe it down. A couple times a year I get in there with emery boards and...
I would expect the braking to be working very similar to our superduty. Slam on the brakes at 25km and you can physically see and feel the trailer locking up. I can't get the f150 to lock up the trailer brakes no matter what I have tried. Very strange since I took the same trailer out only a...
Truck is only 3 weeks old and towed for the first time. I set the gain at 4 to start, tested with the levers and all good. When traveling I don't feel like the trailer brakes were working. At a gas stop, set the gain to 10, same thing. Something doesn't seem right with current setup.
I have driven in both. Max tow and not, I don't notice any difference in ride.
My truck is only 2 weeks old and just got back from our first tow.
Here is the setup I have, absolutely love the copilot assist 2.0 even when trailering. Good luck with your order.
XLT, 3.5 eco, Supercrew, 4x4, 5...
We have had the truck for almost 2 weeks now and still see the "Activation Pending" when I log into the connected services on the Ford site. We are trying to get the traffic and weather option activated on the navigation. We have the 3yr free service.
On the Pass app everything seems to work, I...
Is the traffic and weather through Ford or through Sirius? Have a 302a with navigation and supposed to have 3yr blah blah blah. The options for weather and traffic are grayed out. All I get from dealer is it should be working. I also don't have any options under the Vehicle Setting to adjust...
I typically look at trailers up to 70% of the vehicles advertised, at almost 14k lbs capacity that puts you right around the 10k mark. Payload does become an issue but also the length of trailer must be a consideration. I have never used a WD hitch on any of our boats, but with the travel...
Put a cap on the truck bed and now you have another bed. ? Don't have the truck yet but have the Ranch cap, bedrug mat and we will probably look for a foam or blowup mattress for the bed. We have the Roo 183 with 3 queen for our family of 4 but as soon as the kids bring away friends, we will...
Sound like animals. Get a cage and toss them in the truck bed. ? Just kidding. I was looking for the same and the only thing I have been able to come with is to use the clear vinyl they use for paint protection. You can buy it by the roll on Amazon. Waiting on truck to see how it will work out...
Our old tv couldn't use a wd hitch due to unibody. Still waiting on the truck to leave R59, but have gone out and purchased the equal-i-zer. Don't even have the truck yet (damn ramp 59) and I'm approaching $6k in "accessories". ?
Ordered a Ranch Sierra from local shop and added roof racks and led lighting. Paid $3200 ??. No rush on it since my truck is 10/31. ?
