  1. 3.5l Ecoboost first tow observations & concerns

Put 1,400 miles on my truck before my first tow over the weekend, per manual/break-in recommendations. Towed ~2.5 hrs each way, mostly 65 mph mountainous/rolling hill highways plus about an hour of freeway between 70-75 mph. 2,500 lb single axle enclosed trailer. Observations Well aware the...
  2. 2004 F-150 Wheels fitment onto a 2022 Powerboost?

As long as you don't have the Max Tow package (rotors too big for 17" wheels), then yep! Same bolt pattern for two decades, at least.
  3. Fox Coilovers on a 2021

Installed and quick test today. So far so great... https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/eibach-pro-truck-lift-kit-for-2021%E2%80%99s.6131/page-4
  4. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Alright got this kit installed today... Asked installers to reduce preset preload 1/2" to target a 2-2.25" level in the front. Final front lift was exactly 2". Yes, I wanted to leave some rake because I like the way it looks and I'll be towing fairly often so it'll be fairly level when towing...
  5. Fox Coilovers on a 2021

I have an email from Fox dated 12/28/2021 saying April release. Before that "by the end of the year". I'd say another year for Fox. Yeah, about a month ago and they said the same thing. For 5100s only. 6112s are probably about the time Fox's comes out. And FWIW there is a coilover product...
  6. Fox Coilovers on a 2021

This topic's been beat to death all over forums (I've done my part!) and there may be some answers in here for you... https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/eibach-pro-truck-lift-kit-for-2021%E2%80%99s.6131/page-4 Eibach 2.0 coilovers and shocks getting installed on Saturday. Reducing preset...
  7. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Awesome, thanks so much for your time, expertise, and explanations, Matt. I've been going back and forth via email with your Tech Support who recommends I lower the perch (reduce preload) from the out of the box setting 1/2" on the threads since I'm targeting a 2" lift/level in the front. Sound...
  8. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Thanks for the reply. So, based on what I've read, I'm inferring that even though the Gen14 trucks have slightly different front strut mounting locations the valving can stay the same and the suspension travel is similar enough but only the spring preload amount doesn't equate from Gen13 to...
  9. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Oh, very interesting. I didn't notice that before. @Matt_Bonilla08 (engineer at Eibach) it does look like you guys didn't differentiate between the 15-20 product and the 21+ product. It's been confirmed with Bilstein and Fox that they don't consider the 15-20 stuff to be compatible with 21+...
  10. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Hmm sounds like that's about 34.8" tall but about 11.2" wide. Stock Raptor tires (which we know will fit) are about 34.4" tall but wider at about 12.4" wide. Honestly, no, I can't for sure say either, but a nearly 35" tall tire is A LOT for 3.31 gears to turn IMO. If yours is a 2WD, re-gearing...
  11. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

Awesome, thanks for that Forscan tip! ... but... I suppose risking damage to my OEM speakers above volume level the original EQ curve starts to roll off?
  12. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

Just the base system. I'll upgrade other speakers as necessary. I don't expect it to sound like the $1,500 system in my old truck, but who knows... You know how these projects are never really "done"
  13. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Swapped the wheels and tires from my old F-150: Gen1 Raptors w 285/70/17E Cooper ATPs. These tires have ~25k more miles left in em, but may go one step taller next set: 285/75/17 Unless you have 3.73 gears or a diesel w 1,000 ftlbs torque, taller/heavier tires suck a lot of the power and thrill...
  14. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

Another great vid, thanks! Was just hoping you guys had already done the research to find the best source for an external powered subwoofer. Guess I'll start with the front doors and go from there. Will let report back how it goes. Thanks again!
  15. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

That video is what spurred my "this thing is pretty cool" comment above. Guess I'm still confused on what circuit/door speaker to splice the signal from... or if that video means any signal at all, even from a tweeter? ?
  16. Eibach Pro-Truck lift kit for 2021’s

Ordered this set through my tire shop yesterday (so I get shop's lifetime warranty). It's in stock. Got tired of waiting months for Bilstein and Fox to release their 21+ specific coilovers after multiple delays and after researching Eibach and talking with sales/tech support, decided I'll give...
  17. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

Right, but is the signal to the rear doors the same as the front doors? And will you explain what you meant by the Kicker LOC being able to tell me what harness wire to connect to? These questions are based on my limited understanding that I'd tap into a door speaker wire to pull signal for my...
  18. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

That Kicker Keyloc Smart LOC is pretty cool, actually. Would you recommend splicing into a rear door speaker or a front door speaker? Any difference/advantage?
  19. Powered Subwoofer Suggestions

I read in a different forum that you can Forscan the head unit to maintain a flat EQ, at least in the Gen13 trucks. True with ours? I bought the cable and software to changeout my mirrors (to tow mirrors) so I'm all set there. I'll start scouring the Forscan thread/spreadsheet... I don't want a...

The reviews and built in high level inputs on the Cerwin Vega product linked below caught my eye. If I try this does it mean I don't need to get a separate high level converter like the LC7i...
