This just showed up today in FDRS for my '22 (as well as my '23 Mach-E...just noticed that):
Coincidentally, there's yet another update to FDRS. Hopefully this revision to 39.6.4 will get rid of the "Stack overflow at Line 1" error that 39.6.3 displays now. It doesn't seem to hurt anything and...
I wasn't aware that the issues with that thing ever got fixed. I stopped trying to use it on my Lightning a long time ago and just stuck it on the back of my old Expedition.
Not all EU countries are the same. Yes, downtown city streets in very old cities would likely be a problem. I would never even think of taking my Lightning to Ireland as an example. But they do have quite a few Mach-Es driving around over there.
Norway seems to have a lot of "room" however...
I ordered mine from TASCA and replaced it. I wanted to take the frunk tub out and clean in there anyway. Lots of road dust. And I found out where all those ladybug colonies were hiding as well:
And even more of them when I removed the upper bumper cover:
I also removed the bolts holding the...
Well I've never heard that before...a Lariat regardless of battery size that isn't equipped to work with PAAK?
PAAK is supposed to be a function of the trim level I thought. And if you have the fob in your pocket and walk up to the front of your locked truck and press the exterior frunk button...
That’s what I’ve been doing to charge both my MME and Lightning. Ford portable charger with a 20’ J1772 extension that I just moved between them depending on which one I drove last. One of these days I’ll get around to having an electrician install that pro charger that’s been sitting in the...
From everything I've seen so far, yes.
I'm going to install mine today and I'll check the before and after SOC using FDRS to see what the delta is there.
I've had a '21 MME that had WAL and now my '23 MME also has it, and I rely on that all the time...but my '22 Lightning doesn't, and since the difference is purely software from what I can tell, I've never understood why WAL wasn't enabled on the Lightning from the beginning.
They never read the CSP. They told you the first thing that came to mind to get you off the phone.
If you have a Lightning...you get a new BMS sensor. That's the beginning and end of it. No diagnosis required.
Well that's not good.....and until you posted this I didn't know that that handhold was an opening! I guess I never looked at it that closely. I'm going to get some mesh and rivet that to cover the opening so air can get in but rodents can't. I've had quite enough of rodents in the HVAC systems...
I think you're right. And also, I don't think a 360 camera alignment would have any effect on the problem. It looks like my cameras are in perfect alignment so I don't think doing that procedure would affect the view that I see now.
So I just went out to check the 360 view during backup....I guess this is the new normal? You can certainly see a lot more around the truck but I would prefer to see obstacles that are nearer. It's kindof hard to judge just how far away you are from an obstacle unless you took the time to stop...
I read somewhere and have spent the last 15 minutes looking for it...that you should not let the voltage dip below 10.0V...although all the programming guidance from Ford that I have (all the TSBs, etc) say to set the powersupply to maintain 12.6-13.6V.
When you get a chance go back in and do a PMI on the PSCM. You don't even need the powersupply for that at all if you let the truck warm up for about 15 minutes beforehand.
Let us know if your PSCM clears off the list after that. It should.
Oh, and if you check the manifest for the PSCM update...
I did and I'm going to go out shortly and see if my 360 view is of a similar scale. I really can't remember from the last time I backed up what it looked like (4 days ago). I will post back. I was thinking that maybe a 360 camera alignment might adjust the scale of that image but...dunno yet.
