I found it!!! Lean the seat back and when you pull the cushion in by the joint you will see a silver tube. Lubricate where the silver tube meets the black frame! This Drove Me CRAZY!!

This has just started on My Pro as well!!! So annoying considering how quiet the truck is. If you look up F150 XL seat squeak, you find all kinds of forum threads with this issue since it is the same seat! Any luck finding the culprit??

This has recently happened to me as well. Never happened before the last couple of weeks. Must be an update glitch…I’ve received many in the past few weeks.

Has anyone with a Pro (no options) tried this APIM change to remove black box? Tried it today (current value 4 changed to 5) and I received error messages when attempting to write. My other ForScan changes have gone fine. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong…or not working on a no option Pro...

Im actually surprised you want to go through this much work on this. I honestly think one of the best parts of the Pro is NOT having the extra white plastic across the front! To each their own though! Good luck.

$40k club here as well. The SR battery works perfect for how I use the truck. Not sure I would have even paid $8-10k extra even if the ER was an option.

That’s the one. The wired one is designed to “clip in” to the hole in the b pillar trim piece. I don’t think it would mount up well anywhere else. The one you linked would be the answer.

For this you would just use the “remote” keypad ford sells I believe. The wiring for the “wired” version is inside the drivers door….so you would have to extend that which I’m sure would be a pain.

Have you done this? Not sure how I would keep the “ford” from being covered as well, plus that would still be chrome. I tried one of the vinyl overlays on Etsy, and it didn’t go well! Haha it’s my understanding that removing these and replacing them completely is a pretty good headache on the...

Curious what everyone in here did for the rear emblem? I completed this mod on my Pro, and like the look other than the radio interference! Is there an easy way to get the same matte black look on the rear emblem? Thanks all!

Yes, and double checked. The manual light button you install in bed wouldn’t even activate the lights. Haven’t seen a no option Pro owner get this to work yet.

Nope. Haven’t seen anyone figure out how to make this work on a Pro without the tech packages.

I have the Emporia 48 amp. It has worked flawlessly since February. Not a single complaint.

Thanks for the update. Just putting this out there for any new people in this thread. So far, those of us with a no option Pro trim have not been able to get this to work. We need some ForScan geniuses to come in here and figure this out!! Haha. Thanks!!!
