IMO level makes virtually no difference. I have 10k miles averaging 22.1 mpg and get 23-24 if I keep it under 75. My 2017 ecoboost had zero change after 2.25” level. Off road tires and/or heavier tires will definitely have an effect.
I run mine in night mode all the time. It’s usually plenty bright but when it thinks it’s nighttime during the day you can barely read the screen. It used to get the proper brightness all the time but not lately. Does anyone know where the sensor is?
I had 285/60/20 on my 2017. IMO that is the perfect size. I’ve been planning on getting 285s for my Powerboost but couldn’t justify tossing the stock tires. Getting a deal on some lightly used 275s is tempting.
On a separate note, how much of a mpg loss did you see vs stock?
I used to be a Toyota guy but the Tundra keeps getting uglier and uglier. No underseat storage is a deal killer. And how about listing some fuel mileage numbers?? So glad I got a Powerboost instead of waiting on the new Tundra.
I really wish there was a setting to get no alert if the key fob is present. Having my phone blow up every time I get in or out makes the app basically unusable. I just want to know if someone opens the door when I’m NOT at the truck.
I really like my setup for wireless charging. OffRoam mount with an iOttie charger. You can see pics in post #10 of this thread. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/i-think-i-found-my-phone-mount.3771/#post-62934
I have a Ram Mount wireless charger/ holder I’d be willing to sell. It would...
McKees 37 is dry to the touch once it cures so it doesn’t attract dust. Lasts a few months. The more coats you do the shinier it will be. It you want a matte look then it’s probably not for you.
I purchased Lamin-X tail light tint which turned out nice. (Will make another post on that when I have more time. )
Also installed Lamin-X clear headlight film. I’m very handy with tools and craft type projects but this is not easy to install, at least not if you want it to look near factory...
