Will the 22" Platinum wheel fit in the spare location. I have bought some as backups for my Platinum with the intent of putting one in the tire carrier but you could save me some wasted time trying to make that exchange if it not possible.
Bump for your sale listing!
Let’s not forget those who purchased the Truck because of the feature but now see is impossible to get working correctly. I live in South Florida and planned to add the HIS to my solar system and now see it will never happen. To me that’s a loss of value I was entitled to for my $100,000...
You would need to swap your truck for a vehicle that will charge at 80. The limiting factor is the truck system and yours is not capable of accepting 80 amps.
The Pro Chargers are "all" 80 amp capable, so if you:
1. have a vehicle that will accept 80; "and"
2. a 100 amp breaker that does not...
I’m pretty sure Tesla Station in Florida City is open and has been for over a year. It may not have superchargers yet but with an adapter you should be able to charge there.
I live in Palm Beach Gardens and have driven my Lighting to Key West probably a dozen times since I got it in June of 23. 242 miles each way and if I start 100% always arrive with about 50 miles of range. The combination of interstate/turn pike at 75 and the last 110 miles at never more 60 and...
I use my portable on a dryer plug all the time. I have checked the plug often and checked the plug often to see if there was any heating or problem. Now as to charging amps I am not certain since I’m never in a hurry and have days to recover. It almost seems the portable self regulates but then?
So you will pay by mile but the minimum annual fee for KY will be $160 per year. :curse:
For sure they will never leave anything on the table. They always want more not less and because of the accounting verification issue the minimum will probably rise to $250 to cover administrative and...
[Seems we are forgetting to include the federal taxes on gas which we don't pay to register EVs versus the state tax that is now part of EV registration. When you add the two taxes together and compare the cost for gas the picture can change dramatically.
This is not to say either of those...
From the way it is aligned seems the top was latched in and the bottom is not even in the receptacle. Quit screwing around with it and pull the face plate of and the backer plate that that the head is locked/jammed into and take dremel/hacksaw/etc and cut the plastic in the area where the latch...
And you can lock them up, down, or auto. Best of all the switch is about the size of a dime and just a small 3 position rocker. And the Amps pretty much disappear in the up position.
Have not used them on the Lightning but for grins I just checked and top bar with legs extended to bottom notch is above the bottom of the truck body and I don't think you need to jack the truck anywhere near that high to remove tires.
If you read the comments most all the the issues relate to fit up issues and not construction. I assembled every one of them and found some minor clearance issues but a bench grinder solved them all as it seem the notched black pieces were hair too long at the top. It appeared this was caused...
This is the jack stand solution. I bought 4 for my Fisker but they will work on pretty much anything. They work like a Rennstand but delivered are half the price. Only having 4 lift points is a bitch. I suggest you avoid using floor jack for this and they won’t lift straight up good scissors...
