Check Your Spare Tire Size

If you didn't know if you have a 20 inch or 22 inch factory wheels you still have an 18 inch wheel as a spare. Is this a safety concern? please advise. Thanks..

Manufactures usually provide a full size spare, not a matching spare. The usage of the spare is explained in the owners manual under the heading "Full size dissimilar spare."

But you can fit a full-size Platinum Rim in the spare tire well so you are not limited to using the OEM spare.

FYI as it may apply... I have my full-size, limited function OEM spare 20-inch wheel + tire listed in the FOR SALE section. Those interested, check my listing and let me know.

It's for sale because I got a regular 20-inch used wheel and a full-use tire that now lives in my spare wheel mount.
