This is awesome! Compare fast charging costs and it really shows the downside of taking trips in an EV. Electric rates in my area are $0.33 per kWh, so you can see that it's not a huge benefit to have an EV lol I would be lucky to just to recoup the costs of sales tax and a $1000 per year...
4 miles is a lot longer than people think. I geofence my GT500 to within a 1/4 mile but even donuts at the end of the road is still under a half mile... People are fools these days and techs are just minimum wage kids that have very little respect for anything, let alone someone else's personal...
You can cosign with someone else, otherwise, it will be considered selling it to someone else. That is probably the easiest way to do it or you surrender the vehicle.
So the online order page is what I argued with Ford about - the dealer can change that markup at any time, which my dealer did. They said they added it to all of the trucks because it was on all new orders but I didn't have to worry about it because we had a deal and my truck was ready ordered...
Yeah, the system showed a markup but that wasn't anything binding, the dealer is allowed to change that at any time. I had an agreement to pay MSRP and luckily they honored that. It's relevant to OP because it shows that the dealer can do whatever they want and you have little power to change...
Ford won't do anything when you call them, they said those exact words. As for what is shown on the ford website for pricing, even that isn't going to do anything because mine showed a markup but my truck was sold to me at MSRP. It's a dirty game but Ford was useless to me when I reached out...
I usually get Huskys in my cars, Weatherbeater, and have never had any complaints. I just ordered them from Amazon for less than $100 (warehouse, used) which is hard to beat - $118 new right now. Dealer had issues finding the Ford floor liners so I cancelled that order.
My sales guy told me that my truck is sitting at Ramp 51 in Michigan as of Saturday at 9:51 PST. However, the rail issues may end up sending it to Portland before coming to me.
I think it's their order holders, which allows us to take it for extended periods of time. I think there is less than 20 of us that have our orders there. Mine will be built next week with them!
They're also listing it for sale when Ford doesn't allow them to until 6 mo and 8k miles. I hate when they do stuff like that to get people in the dealership to sell them something else...
Anyway, Price Ford in Turlock has my same build but its only for the order holders to take for 96 hours...
