  1. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

This is what I decided to try, ordered a distribution block on Amazon (positive and negative split) 8 gauge in from battery and will split 10 gauge feeds one set to the Hideaway (amp for some) and one set to the LC2i. Would not see why this wouldn’t be a clean easy solution. Will let you know
  2. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

Hey guys, so I did most the leg work on this unit tonight. The kicker hideaway plus the LC2i. mounted everything ran my power to the battery and found my ground. Question beingI have to have constant power to both the Hideaway and the LC2i correct? Reading the hideaway literature makes it sound...
  3. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

Understood so your really just worrying about speaker inputs and power ground, makes it even easier so it seems. you run right to the engine compartment for power ground?
  4. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

  5. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

I pulled these from another thread on F150fourm kudos to a 'Oscare' who posted them. This is using a separate amp and sub but again i'd wire it to the kicker hideaway. This is tapped after the amp just before the stock sub connector. From what I can see he tapped both positives from the LC to...

Thank you for the pictures appreciate it. Going to give it a shot this weekend maybe, considering tapping into the existing wiring after the B&O amp, may try and leave the factory sub hooked up also. Some people say its possible as long as your after the amp running a self powered sub, anyone...
  7. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

Did you remove the B&O sub? or just tie into the existing wiring
  8. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

Without a doubt i know it doesn't compare to a real sub and amp set up, i had the hideaway in my '16 and thought it was plenty. And If you had some pictures of the sub in place would appreciate it, I have a good sense on how to wire it but interested in your set up.
  9. Adding a Sub to non-unleashed BO system

Following- I have a hideaway I wanted to run also. Assuming it’s better than the stock sub with B&O non unleashed. if I’m following correctly it’s removing the stock sub, taking those leads and using one of those adapters from SGS to run the hideaway. Would love to see a finished product. Thanks
