I updated my s/w a few weeks ago to get BlueCruise and had a question. When I called the dealer today to set up an apt for oil change and trailer module flash. She said the system also showed that I needed the update to enable BlueCruise. Would it show on their end as needing the update since I...
Thank you. When it says to restart I head in the house for 15 mins with it shut off. Just finished the usb portion of a new Gwm update that populated on the scan after the apim update.
I’ve been at this since yesterday afternoon. My router doesn’t like the Fdrs servers for some reason. I kept...
I’ve now run all the updates and the only ones that are still there is a apim and the gear shift update even though both were successful. My sync rev is 144. So now it’s just a waiting game till more populate from the sounds of it.
@Bob_Mac. This did the trick!! Thank you. The update completed and now a new apim update showed up. I did have to go through the usb update process again but glad I was able to avoid the much longer update
@JEB sorry, yes I did a network scan and the module came back green with no DTC’s also the IPC update is still present. All modules are green and no dtc’s present on any module now.
Are you referencing changing the
@Bob_Mac yes I made changes for adaptive headlights to the two below

@Bob_Mac thank you! That cleared my IPMA DTC
for the IPC I compared it to the post Jesse made a while back and the first part of the update is up to date and it’s the 2nd half of the Ipc update I need to complete.
I have and tried to restore my original backup in forscan but got a “configure structure mismatch”. Ironically my ipma update went through successfully and is no longer in my s/w updates list. Below is a screen shot of the error. I’m even getting it during a PMI
Instrument cluster looks good. No DTC’s in IPC. only DTC I have is U2101 in the IPMA which I’m figuring is related to my pre-collision assist error on the cluster screen.
That’s what I was afraid of. The usb install is successful and when I go back into Fdrs and it wants reconfigure the module is where I’m getting the error that it can’t connect.
I’ve tried running the Icm update a few times and all goes well till the module configuration and it keeps saying it failed. Even after multiple retry’s I can’t get past it. Did I miss something in the posts to avoid this?
Thanks. That was prob my issue is I didn’t wait long enough for the boot up. Sorry if I missed your previous post, good to know I can just hit ok and not power cycle.
Working my way through the updates. During the ipma when it was time to turn the ignition off and then back on it said something failed but couldn’t catch it. There was another time where an error popped up when it said to turn the ignition off then on. Should I run the update on it again?
