I’ve had 6.14 for over a month, and my camera view has never changed. I’m assuming this has something to do with the IPMA update the dealer performed.
I got my Lightning back from the service center, I had my 30,000 mile service and I had the CSP taken care of, and now I have the new camera ui. Has anyone else seen this? The scale of the camera view at the top of the screen is different and the 360° top down view is slightly narrower.
Check your audio settings, this update reset my audio settings. Otherwise the new interface refinements are nice with the new icons, and CarPlay no longer has those small black gaps, it fits perfectly!
For some weird reason I was at a fast charger and the charging session failed to start so I got in the truck to move it and it updated and had the new icons! I was worried when the update failed but it must have sorted itself out!
I’ve reported this problem countless times and Ford still hasn’t fixed it. I’ve had this issue for almost an entire year. Switch back to the rear camera view and the exit button appears.
No, I heard it from a rep on the phone. I’ve called them a few times and they seem like they know more about what’s going on now than before, which is somewhat reassuring.
The last update I got was a few weeks ago and improved the door controls, I’m not sure why you haven’t received any updates. I always leave my Lightning connected to WiFi, that might help.
I’m confident we will receive 1.4, updates have been scarce lately which makes me believe they’re working on larger updates. I heard that the update they were going to push may have been too large and they’re working on a plan to split them up, but I’m not sure if that’s true. I hope they push...
I love the existing BlueCruise UI but I wish it would show us more, such as the cars around the vehicle or at least blind spot monitoring in the gauge cluster. With BlueCruise 1.4 coming "soon" I hope we can see an improvement in this area, especially since it's gaining 360Âş of perception with...
The computer powering BlueCruise is equipped with the Mobileye Q4 chip and some of the driver aids are enhanced with Mobileye’s software but almost everything is designed in-house by Ford’s ADAS team and Latitude AI. BlueCruise is Ford’s (Latitude AI’s) solution, not Mobileye’s. BlueCruise may...
This number is an estimate, and it's more accurate when you set the navigation system to a destination. Without a destination set, it has trouble guessing how far you can drive since it doesn't know where you're going and the conditions of said destination so it's not the most accurate. I would...
Hopefully they push this update sooner than later. I would like to see the option to filter by charger type, so I can use Superchargers exclusively. I also like how Rivian shows a charger reliability score and it would be cool if Ford would implement something similar.
If you don't understand how FORScan works, don't use it. It's not worth bricking your truck. Always back up the As-Built files before making any changes, especially since Lightnings are connected vehicles. When you make changes, they sync to the cloud, and as a consumer, you can't recover the...
