I received my update while I was at work today. 4.1.2 checked FordPass three hours later and it still did not show the update. it really is nice. Amazing that I got the update, I wasn’t even hooked up to my Wi-Fi at my home.

When I spoke to the lady at Siemens about the serial number, she said all I had to do was mail a photo of the unit. I also included a photo of the sticker that I found on top of charger where to cable wraps. I wish there is a way I can get this information out to all Lightening owners.

I think my electrician is right when he told me the connector for the # 3 wire was flimsy. This is causing the overheating problems.
As for password I tried the access code and that did not work for me.
Hopefully Ford will issue a recall of these chargers.
