  2. “Hands on steering wheel” sensor not recognizing my hands

None of these options works for me. Even if I hold both hands on the wheel, it still freaks out 🤦🏼‍♂️
  3. “Hands on steering wheel” sensor not recognizing my hands

So “wiggling” the wheel while in lane-centering mode would help? Still a hassle though. Never had any issues like this in the Mach-E…
  4. “Hands on steering wheel” sensor not recognizing my hands

Hi all. Very happy with my Lighting only one thing is a nuisance… the sensor in the steering wheel is not “recognizing my hands” while driving. this results in a more or less constant “hold the steering wheel”-reminder… when it shows up I have to slide my hand on the right lower side of the...

  6. Roll Call: F-150 Lightning Owner Meet Up at the Motherland (Rouge Plant in Dearborn) on September 10th 2022

  8. Tear tag, but still “in production”

Hi all. As I understand it, the “tear tag” for the car Is issued when production is complete. Is this correct? I’ve had a tear tag for my Lightning for a week now, but Ford.com still states that it’s “in production”. What’s up with that? Come on Ford. No more games 🤪😂

  12. Lightning in Sauk City, WI

Hi all. Kayser Ford in Sauk City has a Silver Platinum mannequin. I was only able to get a look around it. Not drive or even sit in it.
  13. Federal administration proposes new rules for EV charging stations

Actually I feel that the infrastructure is there for the major highways. We had no issues driving from Madison, WI to San Diego. Great charging all the way. Only on the way back did we run into a bit of trouble at the very end, because we “couldn’t” charge to more than 80% at EA.
  14. Federal administration proposes new rules for EV charging stations

I second that. We almost got stranded between Dubuque and Madison in the Mach-E on our way back from CA. We had 4 miles left when we got to Alliant Energy Headquarters and their 50KW charger. It gets very cold in the cabin when the heater is off and it’s 34F outside 🥶
