  1. 2022 Lariat ER 22K miles OTD 50K 511a package

ā€˜22 Lariat, just shy of 18k miles. Bought it new, no major issues so far, and having seen the huge depreciation I went ahead and bought the extended warranty. Love the truck, so Iā€™m happy to settle in with it for the next 5+ years knowing I have that warranty. Iā€™d go for it, just get the warranty.
  2. EA charge delivered miscalculation

I honestly looked up and immediately took this picture. The starting percentage is correct, but total delivered was way off.
  3. EA charge delivered miscalculation

These numbers look off to anyone? When finished it said it delivered 100+ kw. At 5minutes going from 49% to 57% it showed 65 kw delivered. Am I reading this wrong? Called EA and they were confused at it, and sent it for review.
  4. Trade value shock

22ā€™ Lariat ER, love the truck and at this point I feel pot-commited to the vehicle. Contemplating buying extended warranty and keeping it longer than I had originally anticipated.
  5. Are we losing the EV Revolution?

I think the build out, simplification, and improved reliability of the charging network is more important to the revolution than anything.
  6. Video/Images of the Lightning fire at the Deaborn holding lot released

Inquired about trading my 22 Lariat ER because the Maverick I ordered almost two years ago came in. Dealer used this story and a lot of BS to low ball and tell me how everyone is trying to get out of their EVā€™s, and if they did the trade my Lightning would sit on the lot forever. Guy kept...
  7. Peragon Tonneau

I think it was during a holiday special they were running.
  8. EA charging problems seriously damaging Ford's image

My complaint with EA is when you pull up and all of the 350/150kw stations are filled by Kia/Hyundai EVā€™s charging for ā€œfreeā€ and throttled at less than 50kw. What should be a quick sub 20-minute charge for them takes over an hour. Is anyone else noticing this?
  9. Peragon Tonneau

No gap here, so far. Iā€™ll be on the lookout for shifting
  10. Peragon Tonneau

They sent me a $250 coupon for the Limited HD version, so I sprung for that one. Honestly, I wanted the matte finish of the Limited, I didnā€™t like the more glossy finish of the other versions. The Limited gets you the matte finish and an extra 2-years of warranty. Their pricing structure and...
  11. Peragon Tonneau

    1. Didnā€™t want the cover to fold up and block the rear window 2. Peragon is almost too easy to remove should I need to have 100% of the bed. 3.In terms of security, I liked that itā€™s more difficult to pry the cover up, because it slides inside the rail instead of laying on top of it.
  12. Peragon Tonneau

Install question, bought the same cover, how much is the end of your cover overlapping the closed tailgate?
  13. Fan and Air Conditioning Controls Are Horrible (and dangerous)

Lariat ER, I have very little issue with the HVAC controls so far, but agree physical controls are best. I also think the one pedal driving is pretty smooth, where others think itā€™s borderline unsafe and jerky. So who knows, personal preference plays a part, but again, I agree with physical...
  14. NYS and Commercial Registration

What are the pros/cons of choosing passenger vs commercial? I tried searching but didnā€™t seem to find too much about it.
  15. Metal ‘tink’ sound rear of cab

Yes, was wondering what that was all about.
  16. Blue Cruise turns off when passing through cashless tolls on NYS Thruway….and small roar trip data.

Did a quick trip from our home in Buffalo over to Rochester, NY and back today. 5 of us, temps in the high 80ā€™s to low 90ā€™s, minimal other cargo. We used Bluecruise where able, windows closed and enough AC to keep us comfortable and the kids from complaining. I drove the speed limit, and...
  17. Owners - Do you drive in one pedal mode or traditional ?

Iā€™m about 90% city also, I still think itā€™s very smooth and easy to feather to a stopā€¦.but itā€™s my first experience with 1PD. Iā€™m sure if I had previous experience with a different system Iā€™d probably have different feelings about it. I definitely could see how having varying degrees of...
  18. Owners - Do you drive in one pedal mode or traditional ?

I find the 1PD in my Lightning to be extremely smooth and easy to feather. The only time itā€™s given me an issue is if/when I want to reposition my foot on the pedal. I keep reading about people thinking itā€™s jerky, and I canā€™t help but think that 1. Something is wrong with their truck, or...
  19. 1PD - is it too severe for regen or is it me ? Drove 60 miles yesterday and found 1PD very intrusive...

Might sound weird, but Iā€™m coming from a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited 6-speed manual and I think driving that in 1st gear in traffic mightā€™ve prepared me most for 1PD lol. Seriously.
  20. 1PD - is it too severe for regen or is it me ? Drove 60 miles yesterday and found 1PD very intrusive...

This is my first EV, and first experience with 1PD but I can say I find the Lightning 1PD to be easy to use and very smooth. Having said that, I could see where it could get jerky if you donā€™t have great control of your foot and canā€™t smoothly feather the throttle for whatever reason. In those...
