ā22 Lariat, just shy of 18k miles. Bought it new, no major issues so far, and having seen the huge depreciation I went ahead and bought the extended warranty. Love the truck, so Iām happy to settle in with it for the next 5+ years knowing I have that warranty.
Iād go for it, just get the warranty.
These numbers look off to anyone? When finished it said it delivered 100+ kw. At 5minutes going from 49% to 57% it showed 65 kw delivered.
Am I reading this wrong? Called EA and they were confused at it, and sent it for review.
22ā Lariat ER, love the truck and at this point I feel pot-commited to the vehicle. Contemplating buying extended warranty and keeping it longer than I had originally anticipated.
Inquired about trading my 22 Lariat ER because the Maverick I ordered almost two years ago came in. Dealer used this story and a lot of BS to low ball and tell me how everyone is trying to get out of their EVās, and if they did the trade my Lightning would sit on the lot forever. Guy kept...
My complaint with EA is when you pull up and all of the 350/150kw stations are filled by Kia/Hyundai EVās charging for āfreeā and throttled at less than 50kw.
What should be a quick sub 20-minute charge for them takes over an hour.
Is anyone else noticing this?
They sent me a $250 coupon for the Limited HD version, so I sprung for that one. Honestly, I wanted the matte finish of the Limited, I didnāt like the more glossy finish of the other versions. The Limited gets you the matte finish and an extra 2-years of warranty.
Their pricing structure and...
1. Didnāt want the cover to fold up and block the rear window
2. Peragon is almost too easy to remove should I need to have 100% of the bed.
3.In terms of security, I liked that itās more difficult to pry the cover up, because it slides inside the rail instead of laying on top of it.
Lariat ER, I have very little issue with the HVAC controls so far, but agree physical controls are best. I also think the one pedal driving is pretty smooth, where others think itās borderline unsafe and jerky. So who knows, personal preference plays a part, but again, I agree with physical...
Did a quick trip from our home in Buffalo over to Rochester, NY and back today. 5 of us, temps in the high 80ās to low 90ās, minimal other cargo. We used Bluecruise where able, windows closed and enough AC to keep us comfortable and the kids from complaining. I drove the speed limit, and...
Iām about 90% city also, I still think itās very smooth and easy to feather to a stopā¦.but itās my first experience with 1PD. Iām sure if I had previous experience with a different system Iād probably have different feelings about it. I definitely could see how having varying degrees of...
I find the 1PD in my Lightning to be extremely smooth and easy to feather. The only time itās given me an issue is if/when I want to reposition my foot on the pedal.
I keep reading about people thinking itās jerky, and I canāt help but think that 1. Something is wrong with their truck, or...
Might sound weird, but Iām coming from a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited 6-speed manual and I think driving that in 1st gear in traffic mightāve prepared me most for 1PD lol. Seriously.
This is my first EV, and first experience with 1PD but I can say I find the Lightning 1PD to be easy to use and very smooth. Having said that, I could see where it could get jerky if you donāt have great control of your foot and canāt smoothly feather the throttle for whatever reason. In those...
