I pretty much keep it in that "calm" mode all of the time. Otherwise it can be a little bit distracting to have the big bright screen in the corner of my eye, especially if it's on the GPS mode always moving around.

Following up: Dealer says that this is related to all of the updates that have happened. Apparently the truck may throw itself into deep sleep mode and have this issues if there has been an update. They are resetting the BMS and some other systems and said that I should be good to go. We'll see...
