Oh, interesting! I thought they'd replace individual cells, not the entire module.
I guess that makes me feel a bit better, that this problem is just a bad replacement part, not endemic on my entire battery.
In ~December I had my '22 Lariat ER complain about a powertrain malfunction and show reduced power available, so I took it into the dealer.
Sadly, it took until early March to get my truck back thanks to the dealer being backlogged, and Ford dragging their feet on parts/support to my dealer...
Let me know! My dealer said there was nothing they could do, and @Ford Motor Company (the contact the account gave me here) was no help when they asked about it.
Ah! Not OP, but this might have done it for me. I was getting that door chime every time all of a sudden. At one point my headlights 'lost' their auto-ness, so I clicked it off/back on, and then noticed the next day it didn't chime again. I didn't put those things together.
There are significant portions of the US where any other type of signal is a hundred miles away, and AM radio is your only option. On entry to those places, there are often signs on the side of the highway encouraging you to tune into emergency broadcast channels/etc, and electronic signs...
I'm guessing they didn't ever remove the hardware, and just disabled it in software. They weren't going to spin up a special radio just for this (rather than just ship the same as the regular F150), and I suspect they disabled it because the reception complaints were horrific.
I'd also suspect...
I find the current Blue Cruise "nice" sometimes, it is handy to be able to eat snacks while driving for a minute or two at a time. $200/3 years is probably more than its worth for me, but I was planning on doing it anyway.
BUT $800/year (or $5k for a 'lifetime of vehicle, according to the poll...
Many of you have probably used this, but I actually only used it for the 1st time successfully this weekend. I tried it once back in ~July, and it scared the crap out of me (it was travelling REALLY quite fast toward the car behind me), so I braked and finished the parking myself. I'd done a...
SO what is going to be a final update to this for now. This is apparently just a design problem. The dealer ordered replacement parts, and the problem was worse. So they replaced THOSE, and the problem was back to how it started. I was told I'm going to have to live with it. @Ford Motor...
Curiously, when I got in my car today it had the updated UI with the improved seat heater controls/etc! However, there is no notification or anything, and the 'software update' on the phone/truck don't mention the update at all.
The new UI is super nice! I'm a huge fan of the seat heater in...
Did this stop working for anyone else? I got past my 'end' date on the 4.1.2 update (still stuck on 4.1.1), but the fuseResponse stoped showing up for me.
I have that same block after my fuseResponse in that response, which has 1 entry. I see in his case, fuseResponse is 'null', meaning no data.
From this block:
"latestStatus":{"aggregateStatus":"success","detailedStatus":"OTAM_S1010","dateTimestamp":"2023-01-24T23:33:11.493+00:00"}
It is...
When looking at dev-tools on the 'network' tab, when you click on something it should open a pane on the right side. Make sure you've selected 'response' there, and not 'Headers'.
Neat, thanks for this! I have the same package situation as chrislittle. I'm going on a decent sized roadtrip this weekend, so it would be wonderful to have 4.1.2 in place for it.
I agree! I'm noticing them pretty often now, every time you get above ~35 you can see it. Its pretty clear following on a windy-ish road, you can see the segments turn on/off as the person moves left/right through your lights. Foggy days also make it pretty obvious when a section turns on/off.
