As my user name points out, I have no options. Iāve heard a lot of Pro owners talk about tow tech. Maybe thatās the key here??
I do need to dig in to Forscan a bit and see if anything obvious sticks out.
Not that any of this makes sense, considering the manual for the truck states "the high voltage battery transfers energy to the 12 volt battery when the vehicle is off" in reference to "keeping the 12 volt battery charged". Now maybe there are some parameters that trigger that powered down...
Itās been weeks for me. They donāt work. I even ordered another switch and lamp to ply with on the bench so that I could understand the logic completely before digging in to the plugs to see if I could figure out if it was something I did during install. But the parts are on back order so I have...
I have a pro without zone lighting (actually, I donāt have any options!) and I havenāt been able to get them to work. I followed the OP instructions. Admittedly, I havenāt poked around in FORScan to see if thereās anything obvious my zero option truck needs to enable to get them to start working.
I think most people only quote kWh because they were already paying an electric bill at their home., therefore the "fees" are built in to household costs regardless of EV ownership. EV charging is only driving up the actual kWh consumption?
Peragon: best of both worlds. Hard cover that doesn't block the rear window when "opened".
There are a couple drawbacks. Price is up there... Also, if you have something slide to the front of the bed and come to rest where the cover retracts to, well, you can't open the cover. So if you don't...
Looks great! I'm going leather in mine but only because cloth isn't compatible with my Labs. Otherwise, this would be THE option for me because I like the look of the OEM cloth. Did you add heaters?
That's going to be tricky. The dummy covers are the same size as the switch and lights. Meaning, you've got to cut them out of the bed liner perfectly. Also, I used trim tools to remove the light dummy and it took a little bit of effort. It's got 6 tabs that hold it in. The button dummy I...
Wrote the values. Was promoted to power cycle, did, and nothing. Went back and check the plug connections again just to be sure I hadnāt done something dumb. All good. When I got back in to the module the values are updated. I scrolled the list a bit to see if any other value jumped out at me...
I canāt seem to get mine working. Wondering if thereās another setting I need to change. My pro does not have ZL or tow tech.
Got everything installed and changed the parameters the OP suggested but I got nothing.
Thoughts?
Rebooting is the same as the reset thing right? Holding power and track forward for 10 seconds?
I did that.
I have, in the past with a different issue, been walked through some sort of module reset tat hilariously involved opening the driver side door. But I don't think any of that affects Sync...
Got in the truck this morning. Connected phone via USB (as I always do, I don't have wireless CarPlay enabled) and everything was fine.
Next time I got in truck, CarPlay won't work. Here's what I see:
Plug phone in, phone vibrates and starts to charge. On screen, notification displays that my...
I'm not wired to roll the dice like that. hah
I'm going with the OE wheels through the winter season anyway so I'm hoping some more options become available next year. It's just a pita that I've got to make sure I double check behind retailers to ensure wheels are right for my truck. First world...
Can anyone point me towards a resource that might explain why Ford lists the M1007P2085MB 20ā wheel in the Ford catalog as NOT compatible with the Lightning? FWIW tire rack says it is compatibleā¦
Ford doesnāt publish the weight rating for this wheel that Iāve seen. Iām thinking thatās the issue...
