This might be a good time to turn off my auto-updates. Now that I have BC 1.4, and my walk-away lock update finally came through, I would be okay just leaving things the way they are.
That's a bummer. I received it less than a week ago, so I'm surprised it would get taken down that quickly. I was really looking forward to walk away door lock. :(
I took my truck to the dealership today. They checked my 12V battery, confirmed that it was low, said that it "just needed to be charged" and is now good. (I specifically asked about resetting the BMS sensor, and they said it's not necessary. So I was already a little skeptical.) While...
Not sure if you saw my post on the other thread, but I actually ran into your old comments when I was searching. It looks like you had the same problem a while back with 10.3.0. Were you eventually able to figure it out? Was it the BMS like mentioned above? If so, then I will have to look up...
I have been unable to install Priority Update _ BCM - 24.5.1 since last week due to this issue. I charged my main battery to 100%, but no luck. I drove about 3-4 hours this past weekend in case the 12V needed to charge, no luck. I even left my truck running in my garage for about 8 hours...
Were you able to resolve this problem? If so, do you have any tips for me? I am now getting the same error about the low battery and it will not allow me to install the latest update for the frunk/walk away lock.
I submitted comments through the emailed survey they sent and also through the recorded feedback on the truck. Hopefully everybody else is also doing the same so they can recognize and fix this annoying problem they created.
Looks like this update is going to screw up the setting for charging preferences. Just like you, my truck charged to 100% after the update (even though I had an 80% limit programmed). And it also deleted all of the "charge locations" I previously had.
But the worst part is that I can't...
Push the button to turn on your blue cruise, then push the button to turn off lane keep assist, then push the button to turn lane keep assist back on. That sequence would always give me the driver facing camera error. If yours does the same, then you will know what the problem is, and how to...
If you are getting the "driver facing camera," then you have the same exact issue I had. It was a known problem. After update 6.13, a bunch of us had Blue Cruise and Lane Keep Assist broken.
Mine was broken for the past 6 months, until I finally took it to the dealer last week. They updated...
Can you please update us when you get your truck back from the dealer? Did they install this update for you? Did it successfully fix your broken BlueCruise? Thanks
I share your frustration. I love this truck, but the software is a big weakness if they want to compete. There’s nothing worse than having an important feature broken by a software update, and hearing nothing but crickets for month after month.
I wish Ford could at least make a statement to acknowledge that this issue is also affecting Lightnings, and to tell us that they are working on a fix.
Yes, that's what happened to me. I first got the Supercharger release, which installed with no problems. Then, later that day, my truck got this one but gave the incomplete installation error. I'm hoping it will trigger again soon and hopefully installs correctly the 2nd time.
So your...
I was really hoping to see more people posting about their experience with this update, considering how many of us have had our BlueCruise broken by 6.13.
Has anyone with broken BlueCruise been able to install this update yet? If so, did it fix the error we have been getting with the driver...
Unfortunately, I also got an error. If not too much trouble, could you please check my VIN to see if there is something I can do to make it work. And in your previous reply, you mentioned " manifest mismatch." What does that mean?
I'm desperate to get my BlueCruise finally working again...
This is my concern as well. All of the communication coming from Ford about this issue only mentions the Mach-E. It would be nice if they at least made an official acknowledgment that they are aware of and working on a fix for the same problem affecting our Lightnings.
I have been pretty lucky with getting most updates fairly quickly. I guess the downside is you end up being a beta tester for Ford. I can see why some people might consider turning off "auto-update."
