The 8 speaker b&o system is rated at 640 watts. I would assume that’s peak, so you’re freeing up around 320watts by not utilizing the stock amp. Either way I’m installing a 1000w RMS 5 channel amp and we’ll see how it goes.

@kvasiir did you get that system installed yet? If so what are your thoughts? The shop im using received (or ordered) the wrong harness so waiting for another one to come in. Install is happening next week regardless (may just cut the wires).

The illuminated one from Ford is black. The dealer will install it, but only takes about 30-45min to do yourself. I paid $133 with shipping to Hawaii after using my Ford rewards points through Fairwayfordparts.com.

I have once. I believe the pro power was activated somehow (I didn’t do anything) and after a while this message pops up. I didn’t notice any significant charge drain so didn’t think too much of it. If it happens again I may try to have it addressed at the dealership.
