That's what I always tell people when they ask how I like my truck. I tell them that I love it and that it works for my use case. I had a neighbor that towed heavy equipment several hundred miles multiple times a month and I told him that it simply wouldn't work for him because of that. I on...
Mine will jump pretty high when I charge it, but as soon as I start driving I'm all of a sudden dropping by 2-3 miles per mile I drive (even if I'm efficient).
When I did my trip from MD to FL I went over everything in plugshare multiple times and plotted out my stops, with backups in case there were any issues. Only problems I ran into were around Virginia Beach, as that was the only charging stop before my house and there aren't a lot of chargers...
Add the adaptive cruise control to your truck, it's totally worth it. Parts aren't that much and the job isn't that difficult if you're at all used to working on things. I added it to my Pro and it and the passive entry are my two favorite things
I don't think I would change anything. While I guess I could have waited and gotten a higher spec'ed used Lariat for about the same price as what I paid for my Pro, my Pro was also brand new and I got to use it for the past year and a half.
I'd never go with a Cybertruck cause the price is...
That sounds really bad, what kind of miles per KW were you getting? I've towed Uhaul covered trailers and was getting around 1.8-2 miles per KW. I get around 1.6-1.7 towing a 3500 lb travel trailer (granted it's a trailmanor so it doesn't get caught by the wind as much as other trailers)...
I got one of the brackets that go on the front tow hooks cause I didn't want the holes in my bumper. I'd definetly recommend them, but you can easily install the bracket yourself if your truck came with it (mine was in the back seat also)
I thought I had read on here once before that the F-150 does not precondition the battery at all, is that not true? I know you can cool the battery when it's heated up due to charging by turning on towing, but I've never seen my battery temp shift at all below the middle of the gauge. Now...
I had this issue with Plugshare. A V4 install in Easton MD showed as being available to non-tesla vehicles, but it wouldn't show up in the tesla app when I tried to activate the chargers. The Magic dock would pop out, but the truck wouldn't charge at all. It's possible that they have since...
You can't just stay plugged in and charging? My understanding is that the 12 volt battery is charged when you are charging the truck, although I doubt it's getting charged at that high of a level.
You can add all that stuff back in to the pro. I added adaptive cruise, rain sensing wipers, passive entry with approach lighting, securicode keypad, heated steering and I think that's everything... None of them were particularly difficult (the securicode surprisingly being the most annoying...
I had a similar issue with my charger and found out that it was the charger and not the truck. I don't know why, but if it's cold outside (less than 37 degrees), when I plug in the charger I'll get a fault on it. If I run a heat gun on the charger to warm it up, it'll start right up. I've...
I've noticed that the website now has a popup for me to check on the status of my adapter. Nothing is updated though, it's still the same old information from when I originally ordered it.
I know you can add lights to them with little issue. I bought a set of led lights to go on mine and a dongle to connect to the power supplied by the truck, but I haven't bothered with putting them on yet.
Looks like if you're on the fence about getting another EV, might want to make a decision quickly

It's such an easy install you could do it yourself. Even buying the cable to connect to the car and the sensor you'd be in less than $100. You wouldn't need the paid version of forscan either, just do the trial for a bit and you'll be good.
If the sensor harness is there then it's just buying the sensor (which is like $40) and plugging it in, and then activating it in forscan. You don't have to replace the blinker lever (at least I don't think you do) just put it into one of the intermittent wiping positions and it should work. I...
