Planning a two way cross country trip in a couple of months. From PHX area to Port St Lucie FL about 2200 miles. The only sketchy part I see in ABRP and plugshare is between PHX and Las Cruces. There are a couple of sites that have no backup and if they fail I'll be looking for a plug to use...
Anybody know when the Tesla Superchargers at the Circle K or the Chargers at the Flying J in Lordsburg NM will be opening? Chevron Lordsburg EA posts are hit or miss at best.
I haven't used google maps or ABRP, but I've found that apple maps usually starts slightly pessimistic and adds a couple of percent as the trip progresses. I usually arrive 2-3% higher than was originally predicted. I
I had this same issue after the truck sat in my garage not plugged in for three days. Put a 2.5 amp battery tender on 12V and it took about 20hrs to show fully charged.
I thought even not plugged in the HVB would charge the LVB when it got around 50%.
Entire circuit is about a year old, hardwired, disconnect switch just above FCSP, torqued correctly etc. etc. etc. Yellow bar does not happen every time I plug in, probably around 50%, I thought it might be heat related, but nope, lately it's been 60ish degrees in my garage. Ford FCSP says they...
Charged last night with truck target charge set to 85%, FCSP dial on #7, FordPass set to target of 85%. Target charge time started @ 11PM. Went to the truck this morning and charge was only 75%. I couldn’t find any faults, the light on the FCSP was the standby blue, truck did not have any...
Just used the Tesla SC in Las Cruces and West El Paso a couple of weeks ago. They were relatively inexpensive for DC chargers.
@Zprime29 have you heard when the Lordsburg truckstop chargers are going to open?
Are you saying the ability to change the amperage in the Charge Station app, available through FordPass is non-functional?
As far as I know, there is no direct way to change amperage in FordPass.
Just a quick note to close out this thread at least from my point of view. I got caught up in the FordPass Maintenance down time like many others. The truck was plugged in at the time, it was almost finished with the scheduled charge but FordPass showed data from hours before. I went to the...
Progress sort of: I checked torque on all the lugs today with a calibrated inch lb torque wrench. Most were slightly low so they were torqued to proper spec IAW the installation manual for the FCSP and the placard for the disconnect panel. Voltage into the disconnect was 120.xx per leg so...
