Whelp. I took everyone's advice and went ahead and purchased a truck off the lot, from a different dealer. It's the exact same spec (paint, wheels, and all) that I ordered, but........ Ford cancelled the $7,500 on Monday, so I lost out on that. 😡 Fortunately, they're doing a low-APR promo, and...
And here I'm sitting, still in "Production," and my truck's location just updated to a THIRD office parking lot 3 miles from the factory. Hope they're still doing a promo in 2024. 😫
Yeah, the VINView screen the dealers look at definitely does not show the actual vehicle location, it shows the location associated with the latest update that was entered in the system. Until very recently, my dealer showed that the truck was sitting on the factory floor, which obviously wasn't...
Yes, and they told me the same thing about being "at the ramp," but I'm connected to my Truck via FordPass, and the GPS still indicates it's sitting in a parking lot 2 miles from the factory.
I'm also in Dallas (one of the other aforementioned "Five Star Ford" dealerships). Mine is still "In Production," but I just got a note from the dealer saying that VinView shows the truck is queued up at the Rogue factory railyard. Now, that's not what the truck's GPS is telling me in FordPass...
BTW, at this point, the "supply chain" line is nonsense. Anyone cruising these forums knows they're having no issues building trucks-- just shipping them out.
Got the same email. Yours is probably built and sitting in a parking lot, like mine. They moved it from one parking lot to another this week, and I got a ton of vehicle alerts 5 mins ago that suggest it's being loaded onto a truck. Fingers crossed it's finally headed to the rail yard..
I'm still "In Production," but my truck was moved this morning from the mall parking lot where it has sat for the last 6 weeks. It's now sitting in an office parking lot. The odometer hasn't changed, so I guess they use a truck to move them, which... makes sense, in retrospect.
I'm suddenly unable to check my vehicle status on the "vehicleordertracking" site. It says, "We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN." My window sticker still exists, and my order number hasn't changed... maybe I finally hit my tracking limit
Mine has been "In Production" since 9/4, but I was able to connect on FordPass, so I know it was built earlier. FordPass shows it sitting in a parking lot near the factory, but when I asked the dealer today, they said it shows as "In Transit". They're trying to figure out where it is... So...
Wouldn't it be great if it estimated the charging cost for you? Based on your charging needs/settings, "KwH needed x Cost per KwH" or "Estimated time needed x Cost per Minute".
Looked like a few people in the 7/31 and 8/7 threads were showing a "built" status, which implies that they're getting ready to ship, right? They're not going to mark it as "built" until the battery has been addressed? In any case, I've got a GPS lock on my truck (via FordPass), so watching for...
To my knowledge, few LTL/TL companies are unionized. Yellow was the last big company, and they went bankrupt a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what impact the teamsters really will have on truck deliveries.
Based on other posts, they seem to be a week behind schedule, so it will be ~1 week after your blend date. You can get the date from your window sticker.
