My estimated delivery just changed from 10/6/2023 - 10/12/2023 to 10/1/2023 - 10/7/2023. So much for my confidence in the estimated dates, unless of course my truck is already on a Maryland bound train.

Maryland did just receive a massive influx of Lightnings - 55 at dealers not earmarked for folks by my count. Granted, mine was marked as built a day after yours and my estimated delivery date is... 9/19-9/25. So it's a mess.

I've got an ER Lariat with bed liner and deployable running boards that is going nowhere fast.

I ordered in May, the original production date was 8.28. My actual In Production date was September 12th, My tare tags were fulfilled about a week later... and had radio silence since then. Today I've hit one month "in production" and have no information and no truck.

This is my first post, as I've been patient and lurking. And I get that there are issues and the strike doesn't help... but it's getting a little frustrating.

We're in the same spot then, some solace to know I'm not alone - thank you for sharing in misery haha.

Ordered May 9, Production Assigned 8/28, actually in production 9/7, got the tear tag like a week later, but still not "Built" and no meaningful info since. My "last updated" is 10/4 (though nothing changed in status on that date).

Mine has been "In Production" since 9/4, but I was able to connect on FordPass, so I know it was built earlier. FordPass shows it sitting in a parking lot near the factory, but when I asked the dealer today, they said it shows as "In Transit". They're trying to figure out where it is... So either they have bad info or FordPass isn't actually providing an accurate location.

Transit between holding and workshops is what that means in some situations.

Just talked to Ford CS. No information on the whereabouts other than it’s in Illinois… at least it’s headed in the right direction!

My local Ford dealer is listing inventory such as the Lariat-ER and Lariat-SR with a $7500 credit eligible now through early January 2024, it's has no bearing on the federal tax credit for BEV's in tax year 2023, with the correct MSRP net of D&D and that you are not above the modified AGI limitation and have gross federal income taxes of 7500 of more, you would benefit from this federal credit when filing your tax year 2023 income tax return on or after 1/1/2024

Your dealer is wrong. The tax credit is dependent on multiple data points, like the cost of the vehicle and your income. The $7500 is a rebate, likely to move old stock to make room for new stock. As of today if you want the tax rebate you will need to fill out the appropriate forms come tax time. So yes, your dealer is mistaken.

I also received the vague "last updated" (That didn't actually update anything) on 9.25.

I've been avoiding going back in the past build week forums, but I probably should to see how things are shaking out.

Just got my Lariat SR today. Love it! Had no issue getting the $7,500 incentive even with my own financing outside of Ford.
