I came from a maverick, which was not large enough and was my first ford in years. I wanted to go full electric so we did the math and dropping gas helped pay for the monthly and we went to a full size not a toy (loved the maverick as a half car).
Brian, I really do appreciate the straightforwardness. I personally am first of all lucky I have a dream vehicle but second of all have the electric truck I had wanted for 10 years before it was available. I am on my second Lightning because I love the vehicle so much, I am going to stick with...
Same reason I am not looking at a scout. I do not want gas. For maintenance and an extra unnecessary power plant. I would have loved a scout my parents owned the 70’s truck and when they said it was a erev I knew it was not for me.
Based on our house with heat pump and other electrical items 14¢ flat is the cheapest I can get. The over night would make our total monthly go up. B.C. hydro has a calculator but hearing the other if we had the Georgia super rate at 2¢ it sure would make a difference.
I hate the add ons our natural gas does a lot of that. When you go to the grocery store they don’t add on for the transportation, handling, and use of the scale. It is part of doing business.
I tell people the Lightning is the best thing. A regular F150 is better, faster, and quieter. It is not weird like the Cyber Truck and not bulky like the Chevy(plus it has Carplay). It is just a F150. It is incredibly sad to make the gas ones and not any electric for people to not be able to...
Sure glad I have CarPlay in my lightning. GM’s entertainment software just breaks
things. Car companies don’t seem to support their cars for long

I was on a trip to Kelowna this weekend and I did not see B.C. hydro in the plug and charge list? Is it still being added? I ended up using the B.C. hydro app.
