Mixing the two types of power I think is a bad idea. Ford is needing a long range truck and has to add gas only because they don’t have the technology for better batteries and are not trying to develop them like the Chinese.
This really is the same as the 80’s when Japan had better production and the big 3 got off there laurels and made their production better. They are far behind now and going farther Farley has to say Canada sold its soul ge has no choice they can not compete at this time.
I have been getting the same with the back driver side going off for no reason. I was going to mention it to the dealership on the next service in a couple of months.
I hope you are happy the ev9 is a nice vehicle. I believe it has actual apple car key which would be nice compared to standing outside the truck waiting for it to unlock.
I came from a maverick, which was not large enough and was my first ford in years. I wanted to go full electric so we did the math and dropping gas helped pay for the monthly and we went to a full size not a toy (loved the maverick as a half car).
Brian, I really do appreciate the straightforwardness. I personally am first of all lucky I have a dream vehicle but second of all have the electric truck I had wanted for 10 years before it was available. I am on my second Lightning because I love the vehicle so much, I am going to stick with...
Same reason I am not looking at a scout. I do not want gas. For maintenance and an extra unnecessary power plant. I would have loved a scout my parents owned the 70’s truck and when they said it was a erev I knew it was not for me.
