Yeah I really do think a lot of the issues with sales comes from the salespeople. I wonder how many people wander into a Ford dealer considering an EV and are talked out of it by the sales rep. Itās just easier for them to sell it instead of explaining that you actually save money over time...
The option from Twraps has worked great in my Lightning and my Mach-E. Very happy with them, itās like how it should have been from the factory:

My initial post about Twraps...
So we have to pay for the Ford Connected thing or use our phone as a hotspot for this to even work? This is going to be used by dozens of people! Dozens!
Let me guess, most of those "reviews" include a thumbnail of the Youtuber making an angry face with some arrows and bold text pointing at the truck.
It's all about the clicks, baby.
No, I donāt believe it does. Someone on the Mach E forum explained that wireless chargers only activate when a phone is trying to pull energy. I havenāt noticed any issues.
However it may be worth reaching out to Twraps for more info.
I've had this issue in my Mach-E and Lightning, too. It's partially user-error and partially button design/function. Should I not be palming the wheel when turning? I guess so? But sometimes I'm just making slight turns with my hands at 10-and-2 and it will hit the button.
The button is really...
Same for the Mach E. Itās insane how the dash speaker overpowers everything. You have to bring the fader all the way back just to make it seem like the music isnāt hitting you directly in the face.
What the actual hell? Thatās bizarre and not great for the industry.
We can hope Ford will snap up some of the top people laid off and maybe EA will try to hire some of the Supercharger team. Wishful thinking, I know.
