  1. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout March 2025

Got back to my truck after the ball game (opening day) and found a present from Ford! Took the long way home just to try it out! I am not EAP.
  2. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

I guess that those of us in the general population will just have to be patient until you EAP folks have a chance to use it and give it a passing grade. That’s OK with me as I’m not really comfortable with being a beta tester for software controlling a three+ ton vehicle. Plus, even though my BC...
  3. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Thankfully not the HVB, but they did need to replace the coolant pump. Done in a day, back on the road.
  4. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

I’m not showing any recalls at this time.
  5. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Where can I check my VIN?
  6. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Got the dreaded orange wrench this evening after meeting my wife for dinner. Also had a strange clicking noise coming from near the charge port. Was able to travel home at normal speed.. I am charging now, with blue ring.
  7. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

No problem, I’m just trying to think of why they do what they do. I get it…trying to figure it out is a useless effort.

What version came on your 2024? Maybe they are extending our older trucks because we are stuck in 1.0.

Yes, this can’t be something to do with hardware since we already have working BC. It must be strictly a business decision.

Vin specific is what they told me as well. The questions I’m thinking of calling back about is…What differentiates preference to one VIN over another? We all bought trucks. Is it timing?
  11. Not getting software updates, how do owners know if something is wrong?

According to FordPass, I’m at ECG-24.2.5.6.2 so, if it makes a difference, I’m one behind you there.
  12. Not getting software updates, how do owners know if something is wrong?

I’m already at 10.1.1. Maybe I haven’t gotten updates because I’m all caught up and that’s the reason.
  13. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

I use BC often while traveling from my home in MD near DC to my daughter’s home in New Jersey and from our home to our beach house in Delaware. I use it locally as well since I find it takes some of the stress out of sitting in traffic. It’s likely I’ll buy it when the trial expires. Maybe you...
  14. Not getting software updates, how do owners know if something is wrong?

If what she said was true, it wasn’t a function of whether you are moving electrons, but whether the charging door was actually closed. ??? Just sounds wrong to me. My charges are usually done before 3 AM, which is where I had the OTAs set for for a little while.
  15. Not getting software updates, how do owners know if something is wrong?

Seems as though that instruction runs counter to the recommended practice of plugging in at night and setting the truck up for scheduled preconditioning departure time in the morning.
