Tried what you recommend. I only get two options, one for $49.99/month and another for $495/yr. II don’t see anything for the $0 annual. I think I’ll give them a call.
I called last night and was told that the offer is VIN specific. There was no indication as to what the discriminator was between the haves and the have nots. My 23 Lariat SR was purchased in November of 23. Bluecruise was on the sticker.

So they know how much we use or don’t use BC. I worked with Marketing folks for many years and when providing them data like this they used it to target certain entities.

If they’re targeting certain VINs we should have something in common.

I’ll start. My son and I both got the offer. The commonality is we both have low miles and have probably used BC for <200 miles between us. No way we would buy BC. Open to other theories.

Could also be an A/B test and we were both selected.

Or we were the first wave.

I use BC often while traveling from my home in MD near DC to my daughter’s home in New Jersey and from our home to our beach house in Delaware. I use it locally as well since I find it takes some of the stress out of sitting in traffic. It’s likely I’ll buy it when the trial expires. Maybe you are correct and they are offering it to those who aren’t using it as much. But it would probably be better to get the upgrades out. Better functionality would probably go further in stimulating use.

I have 82,000 miles on my 2022 and I've driven at least 50,000 in hands free blue cruise and I got the offer.

I'd check the fine print. 2022 models, or at least per my window sticker, make no reference of a trial of any period. My truck window sticker says BlueCruise is included, without any limitations. On connected services, of course, it says I have a three year trial. Later window stickers specifically DID have the trial period language. I wonder if this is Ford trying to clean that up. I haven't bothered taking this up with Ford yet, my "trial" is active through later this year, but it's something I plan to explore nearer the supposed expiration. Question is whether if you accept this offer do you explicitly agree to terms that remove the potential "ambiguity" for 2022 models where BlueCruise was not sold to us as a trial.
wow...thats a very good point. i have a 22 and sstilll have my window sticker with all my paper work. i already signed up for the free year. now im worried

If I recall correctly. Co-Pilot 360 will remain active on the Truck but requires hands on Steering wheel. I had this on my ICE XLT. This was the hack where people were putting weights on the steering wheel.

lol i remember this exact video

The answer is right on the connected services blue cruise page, and in their terms and conditions.

Additional Information

Plans are subject to change. If you purchased BlueCruise as a One-Time Purchase, you will have BlueCruise service on your vehicle for a minimum of 7 years, after which BlueCruise may automatically expire. See your Ford Account for terms and details. Service and features depend on compatible network AT&T availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Failure to regularly update could result in BlueCruise being unavailable.

Available Feature. Equipped Ford vehicles come with either a complimentary trial period or an included duration, after which purchase of a BlueCruise subscription is required. Modem activation is required for subscription purchase and for initial activation of BlueCruise (for pre-2024 model year vehicles). See ford.com/bluecruise for details. BlueCruise is a driver-assist feature and does not replace safe driving or driver’s attention, judgment or need to control the vehicle. Only remove hands in a Hands-Free Blue Zone. Always watch the road and be prepared to resume control. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.

I understand all of this angst and confusion about the exact cost and duration of BlueCruise for us early '22 owners. It is really not worth my time to worry about any of this right now. I will just take what is being offered.

But, at least for me, I will just wait and later join the class action suit surely coming. More likely, by the current expiration of my upgraded BlueCruise in August, 2026, my four year old truck will need to be sold or traded for a newer, better model, surely with a much lighter, better battery pack.

I’m pretty sure this just means that the BlueCruise service itself will continue to exist for at least that long if you buy the lump sum option. I don’t think that’s why people are getting a bonus year.

It’s most likely a thank you for early adopters because Ford failed to deliver updates to them as originally promised.

I was told by my dealer that there is no fees for Blue Cruise when I picked up my vehicle two years ago.

On pickup he even had me take a screenshot showing the year 2073 for expiration of Blue Cruise.

What's concerning is I now see this date has changed. Somebody has some 'splaining to do.

Will also add that none of the Ford marketing material at the time disclosed that which in Canada is a violation of advertising laws.

If only I had front sensors! Ah well XLT lyfe.

Maybe they will offer it on my wife's 2023 Mach-E. Although that said for whatever reason our Mach-E came with 3 years included, which just happens to be the length of our lease on it.

We have 27,000+ on the Mach-E and 15,000+ on the Lightning. We've driven to 31 states and one province. We got the offer on both vehicles.

Sorry to dash your speculation...
