  1. Home charging using 220v

I’m a very non-technical guy but my Ford suppled charger on 220 v will charge up to 85% over night from as low as 10% or lower
  2. Tesla Superchargers in Ford NAV screen gone

I live in Ovalo, South of Abilene and a Tesla charger about 25 miles NE shows up on the Ap. Another in Santo TX, near Fort Worth also shows up
  3. More emphasis on 120V charging

Still worth having a spare, just in case. We live on a ranch about 35 miles from the nearest public charging. Still may bring it in when we get the new charger, depending on how much charge we can get overnight
  4. More emphasis on 120V charging

I finally decided it wasn't really worth bringing the unit to the dealer. We've had it over a year and I doubt that it would be covered by any type of warranty and I surely didn't want to leave it with the dealer. Decided instead to just buy a Lectron level 1 charger. Cost about $135 and I'll...
  5. 1000 mile road trip with SR Pro?

Just returned from a round-trip between Abilene Texas and Scottsdale Arizona. All went well but there was a learning curve. It just depends on the distance between charging stations. Sometimes you could plan to go a couple of hundred miles with reasonable assurance that you would have adequate...
  6. Lane centering

Mine is a frequent annoyance. Even though often occurs when both hands are on the upper part of the steering wheel. I guess better safe than sorry. I doubt there is any adjustment that could change it.
  7. Bought a Lectron off Amazon - 2 days later got this safety notice

I bought mine directly from Lectron. Had to do some modifications to get it to release properly(ground down the release latch) and only used it once since I got the Ford adapter shortly afterwards. I would suspect that if mine was subject to recall I would've heard something from Lectron, but...
  8. More emphasis on 120V charging

When I returned home I tried to charge on 120 volts. Again it failed but worked fine on 220. I’ll check with the dealer
  9. More emphasis on 120V charging

For the first time I tried to charge at 120 volts using the Ford supplied charger. It works fine at 220v, but I was visiting my daughter. We could not get it to charge at all. The light would go from green to orange almost immediately. Does this indicate something wrong with the charger?
  10. Lane centering

I have had that problem intermittently. I wear progressive lenses. Just moving my hand on the wheel eliminates it. It's just a minor nuisance
  11. Where are the Tesla chargers?!

They seem to show up on Apple maps
  12. How to navigate to Tesla Chargers?

Pardon my ignorance, but what is "preconditioning"
  13. Is Anybody Happy With Their Lightning?

Like others, I’m a fan. My 3rd F150 and this truck is just so great to drive. I’ve become a fan and I’m not really a car person
  14. Air dam……. It

Just out of curiosity, I googled air dam removal and found quite a few YouTube descriptions. It didn't look like it was too complicated although I'm not sure if it's any different on the lightning compared to the standard F150.
  15. Anyone else having trouble getting a Tesla adapter from Ford?

One has to wonder why Ford hasn’t reached out to one of the after market companies. Must somehow be related to an agreement with Tesla
  16. Rear door stuck

Thanks. I brought it to the dealer (Arrow Ford - Abilene). They freed the latch and lubricated it. Said they really couldn't find anything wrong. Advised that if problem recurred they would have to replace the mechanism. Thanks for reaching out.
  17. Rear door stuck

My right rear door will not open from the outside. It does open from the inside and the lock seems to work properly. Anything simple that I might do before I bring it into the dealer.
  18. Potential Ford Lightning Buyer. Would love to hear your advice.

Love the moon roof. My wife hates it! I'm sure that helps a lot :) p.s. mine has auto park but I've never been able to get it to work well
  19. Default Cruise Control Behavior

I’m also pretty happy with the way it is. Lane centering took a little while getting used to and I do frequently turn it on and off, but use it a lot. My first experience with all this new automation but by in large feel it does improve safety
