A good point to start on a solution to your well pump tripping the Lightning ground fault protection is to see if the pump motor really has ground leakage current in excess of 6 mA. There have been a few reports of false PPOB GFCI trips with power tools. I don't think that is likely, but it is...
When I took delivery on my Lightning I checked the bed outlet waveform with an oscilloscope. My calibrated eye rated the THD at less than one percent.
I’ve followed the reports of problems some have had with PPOB. I suspect the issues are caused by commutation noise from the triacs in the...
Though for Stickyfingers on the fuse or panel problem. If you have a smartphone with a thermal camera option (Photobooth in Apple), you may be able to spot a heating problem without risking a burn or a shock.

I've used our '23 Lightning to provide backup power for eight utility outages so far this year with the 7.2 kW bed outlet. It has worked very well as a backup for home. The Lightning can supply the average homes electrical needs for several days if air conditioning or electric heat is not...
I understand the Generac panel has a ground to neutral bond screw. It might be green on the neutral buss (I have not seen the panel first hand) Double check that it has been removed.

If the LED flicker continues to be a problem, know that some lamp and dimmer combinations do not work well together. Cree and Lutron have information on their websites with product model numbers which have been tested for compatibility.
I have checked the waveform of the Lightning 7.2kW...
I checked three Dremel variable speed tools I have on the Lightning bed 120 volt outlets. All three tools worked fine with the full range of speed control. Two had three wire (grounding) plugs. The third has a non-grounding plug. All three of these tools are old designs with about three...
I just discovered that my 23 Lariat had received the AM radio update, possibly in the 23-PU0110-RAD-PS release or Power Up 6.8.0.
What was surprising was AM channels were not indicated on the Radio section of the touch screen but could be selected from the instrument cluster display menu...
Try using the tool with a short extension cord on the bed outlets and see if the tool works.
I've had one experience where otherwise working plug and receptacle combination would not power an appliance. I attribute this to the plugs solid connection points being undersize in thickness.
The...
I am also looking for a replacement for this lug. The internal hex socket on the set screw is stripped on my FCSP. Fortunately, the screw was at the correct torque at the point it failed during a follow-up check.
The marking at the bottom of the lug indicates it is a UL Recognized...
There might be an issue with the furnace flame sensor. Some gas furnaces run a very small current through the burner or pilot flame to the gas pipe to confirm the flame. There needs to be a path from the gas pipe to the power source neutral/ground bond to complete the flame prove out circuit...
The J1772/CCA connector is 12” in distance from the cable strain relief to the tip of the connector. You will want several feet of loose cable from where the CSP is mounted to where you intend to park. A very tight charging cable could contribute to a bad charging connection, or problems...
The isolation transformer I used is an ACME T2535163S 10kVA rating. The transformer input is 240 volt, the secondary is 120/240 volt with the neutral connected on the transformer secondary only to the ATS. The equipment ground from the truck is carried through to the ground buss at the service...
I have been using the ProPower Onboard with an isolation transformer for utility back-up for the 50 hours of power outages we have experienced this year. I have the option of using the Lightning or generator as source to our home through the ATS. The Lightning is the most convenient back up I...
I am not sure I understand the details of the described installation, but I am very concerned that an interrupted neutral condition could occur and put 240 volts into the 120-volt loads if the neutral conductors are separately switched.
Hopefully that is not the case.

I have been using my 23 Lightning ER for home power back up since taking delivery this July. I found Ford’s Home Integration System did not seem like a good fit with our existing solar and generator system. I opted to use the 120/240-volt 7.2 kW Pro Power as a source in addition to my ICE...
