The lift/level had no effect on BlueCruise in my truck. Definitely adjust the headlights though, mine were WAY too high after install. And get ready for NASTY torque steer on your first launch. LOL
This is a complete non-issue for the reasons @Mal106 correctly points out. There is no transmission and the software prevents you from doing anything that would harm the truck. Shifting from D To R at low speeds does not harm the truck.
Only if you treat that 1 pedal as a legacy pedal. You are incorrectly removing your foot ENTIRELY from the pedal. If you instead back off to a neutral position, it's no worse than 2PD.
I would argue, however, that (at least in my case) 50 years of driving has trained me to lift off the gas...
What's the difference between the "standard mount" and the "8 degree" mount...other than the obvious...8 degrees? Trying to order the mount for the comma that's currently on B/O.
Thanks!
I don't need more range. Faster charging would suffice for those rare occasions when I need more range. More range would only be fine if it came WITHOUT additional weight.
"Upgrade?" That's not an upgrade. Another engine to maintain. Nope, worst of both worlds. I'll never buy anything with an engine in it again. My wife's next vehicle will be all electric. Hybrids are for people who fear change or tow A LOT. This is not an upgrade. Nope, nope and nope. If...
Can't blame you for wanting to switch back. I miss Tesla's software. I'd still prefer a Cybertruck, but the price is too high and it "sticks out" a little too much for my tastes.
No. Worst of both. Most likely to catch fire, oil changes, transmission, transmission oil changes, coolant, radiator, filling with gas in below zero weather. All the yuck stuff from ICE carries over.
No thank you. Gas sucks.
When it doesn't work, all you really have to do is pull out your phone and open the FordPass app. PaaK works often enough that this isn't a big deal for me and this work around is better than carrying the FOB. Compared to Tesla (which ALWAYS worked) it definitely sucks. No need to resort to...
Original owner let this guy ride in the bed of his truck. The result was an amputation thanks to Cornell University and the SPCA where he was dropped off. If you let them ride in the bed, please be careful.
Works fine for me too. I’ve always had to open FordPass once in a while when the truck doesn’t respond, but that doesn’t seem to occur more or less frequently with iOS 26.
Maybe the grass is always greener, but I’d rather have a NON motorized (but lit) version. I have the motorized version installed. Would be nice if a list were compiled for both types.
I experienced none of these issues. I used the $30 shifter posted previously in this thread on eBay. Everything works as expected. No ForScan, no nothing. Just plug-n-play.
