  1. Parking sensor fault

    Same with mine. 23 XLT
  2. 12 volt battery bulging!

Hard to get a good angle on it. I replaced mine with a Motorcraft from RockAuto
  3. 12 volt battery bulging!

I preemptively replaced mine a couple months ago and my original (2023) was bugled on the sides.
  4. 023 Lightning (Build 08/23) – No Heat / No Defrost Heat – Dealer says “failed heater assembly” (any insight?)

Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Make a stink. Unfortunately anymore that’s the only way to get people/businesses to do what is right. Worked Tesla Service from 2015 to 2020. Give the Advisor a little break if you start getting frustrated. They can only do so much and the call on most things is...
  5. Sensor Warning

I get the same thing. Tried to explain to the dealer last time I was in for another issue. They didn’t check into it at all. Always the same sensor. Always when cold or warm and raining. There was a CSP for the issue I tried to tell them about but they didn’t check into that either. The...
  6. Let the journey begin. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power (Fixed)

I will give the dealer credit, they did have it back to me on Tuesday like they had said when I dropped it off.
  7. Let the journey begin. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power (Fixed)

See attached for the fix and tech notes. Maybe this will help someone else or maybe it was just a one off.
  8. Let the journey begin. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power (Fixed)

Update. Just got a video from the dealership. They think they have it narrowed down to corrosion coming out of the back of this connector on this coolant pump(see picture). Can't download the video. Pump looks like it is bolted to the the back of the front subframe.
  9. Let the journey begin. Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power (Fixed)

Just starting another thread about Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power notification. Started getting a service vehicle soon message a couple weeks ago. Still under warranty but replaced the 12v myself to avoid having to go to the dealer. Didn’t help. No reduced power. Charged fine...
  10. Why the Lightning hate?

    Different strokes for different folks.
  11. Price per KW to charge at home🏠

I haven’t charged the Lighting at home yet in the two years I’ve had it. Charge for free at work. Rates at home are .17-.22 cents per kWh. Also have solar that would offset if I did need to charge at home.
  12. Tail light deformation?

Just keep an eye out for water getting in. If you go to the dealer they likely won’t replace and it’ll be a waste of your time. They might even charge a diag fee.
  13. Tail light deformation?

Likely just where the lens is glued / thermo welded to the housing.
  14. Turns out there was no First major problem in 67000 miles, Post #23

This looks like you were following behind someone who was losing fluid and it ran off the front of the truck while parked.
  15. Where’s the savings!!!!

I lucked out and get to charge for free at work. Worked there for 5 years having EVs the whole time and only ever had to charge at home a handful of times.
  16. It was good while it lasted...

I’d be okay with it because I have had EVs for 10 years and understand I might have to wait to charge and don’t get bent out of shape when the clouds don't part and the stars align every time I need to charge on a trip.
  17. It was good while it lasted...

You say that but if you had a Bolt you’d probably be parked right to them at the Supercharger. The problem with most EV owners is they entitled d-bags. I can sense it on people. I know I worked at Tesla for 4 1/2 years early on. The fact you said maybe they’ll be too cheap to buy an adapter...
  18. Rear Left Shock bottom bolt alignment

    Bushings peeling out?
  19. CyberTruck Fires begin

Worked at a DPW. In areas that don’t freeze they’ll have what is called a wet barrel hydrant. Places that freeze will have a dry barrel hydrant. Wet barrel has a valve right near the top. Dry barrel the valve is ~6 feet below ground. A dry barrel can be hit and is designed to shear off at...
