The seat does not produce cooler air, it just pushes air through the holes in the seat. If the cabin is full of hot air then you probably won't feel the difference as much as if it were full of cool air.
@Ford Motor Company, to answer your question: no. I am not ready to sing my heart out. You want to know what I am ready to do?
1. Open my FordPass app and build a navigation route and send it to my vehicle (like we used to be able to to do and Ram has had this feature for at least 6 years)...
It is not a phone issue. The USB-C in the truck outputs at 3A, the USB-A is 1 to 1.5A. I would venture to bet that the 120V wall charger you are using at home or plugging into the 120V outlet in the truck is putting out more than 1-3A. My magsafe charger on my nighstand puts out 15A or five...
You absolutely can unplug it. That harness is powering something like a Lojack more than likely. And is probably draining your LVB. The white OBDII port that the harness is plugged into is your actual OBDII port and should be where that black port is now.
You should see that instead of the blue icon for brights/auto brights that you have a green headlight icon with an "A" in it. That means your glarefree auto beams are enabled. Also, I don't think they work unless you are going over 25 or 35 mph (don't quote me on that).
There have been several very strong and adamant comments that the shutters stay closed while moving, however my truck is reporting the shutters are open while moving. Once up to speed like 55 MPH+ they are closed but the OBD2 with carscanner shows the shutters being partially open until then.
I have had this happen for 3-4 days straight 3 times. The last time I used the voice feedback on the truck to tell them that I was getting phantom notifications and then I got an actual update a couple days later. Not sure if it was coincidence or not since Ford does not communicate well about...
For those of us who took the leap and installed the iOS 18 beta, it broke all of the secondary pages in the FordPass app. Alot have been blaming Ford for not fixing the app, but it looks like it was an iOS issue after all. I just installed iOS 18 Beta 6 this morning and the secondary pages now...

What would be cheaper for Ford and give owners options is to allow the truck to "talk" with phone apps. Let Google, ABRP or Apple have data on battery state, energy use, etc. And allow them to precondition the battery for charging stops along the way.
I do not understand why some of you are acting like supercharger access is an entitlement. They are a private company who it seems is prioritizing their highest paying customers over everyone else. Do you also complain that season ticket holders to your local sports teams get priority access...
Ii haven't seen anyone with an XLT get the 6.8, at least from what can be gleaned from the forum posts it looks like its an update to those with the big 15" screen.
I would pay for the extra HP and do not take issue with this approach. It would likely mean they'd have to adjust their EPA MPe (or whatever the MPG equivalent is) on the window sticker if they included this upgrade to all cars because it surely is going to impact efficiency.
