I'm not expert, but my understanding is there are pyrotechnic fuses that isolated the battery in the event of a major electrical fault. They're literally explosive charges, that would sound like small fireworks.

This seems like the pyrotechnic fuse(s) blew, maybe?

I'm wondering how this all worked out from the driver's side headlight back through the existing wire loom. This does seem like the cleanest approach to me, and has the potential benefit of possibility avoiding radio interference since the routing is on the opposite side, away from the antenna.

I've charged my wife's Mach E there a couple times without issue. That location also has 400 kw Mercedes chargers which are quite nice and not too much more expensive than the superchargers.

Yeah, I had the opportunity to try FSD recently, and found myself to be irritated by the experience. I think the systems are different enough to make each other seem counterintuitive when switching between them.

I have the same experience. I'm quite comfortable with BC functionality, but there does seem to be quite a diversity of opinion on it. At first it made me wonder what was wrong with everyone's trucks, but now I'm of the opinion that people just naturally have different levels of acceptance of...
