I think its the offset that is the biggest problem. If you go 2.25 the distance doesn't change much from the Inner fender to the front bumper/valance. If it set out more then it would change a bunch of things. I know some guys take the crash bars off, I personally like safety features but...

I would often. Wonder why my 2013 f250 had 18s and some had 20s. I started looking around and found out the trucks that had the 20s had more payload. So it has something to do with side wall of the tire maybe?

Yes the leak, the drain Hoses for sure. I have seen some guys poke a hole in the black drain plugs on the front side of the bed. They actually run the hoses out of the bed. I have gad a backflip with almost no leaking.

I have noticed any noises at all. Water proof? Its been snowing here, but the few times I have ran it thru the car wash no problems. On there web site they claim that they are not water proof. They have drain hoses in the cannister up front so it appears that you will see some moisture.
