Thanks for sharing your experience. One of the reasons I went with an EV for my next vehicle was to use it as a backup power source for your house during a power outage. I’m glad your Lightning served you well.

I also recommend storing your adapter in your climate controlled cabin.

I have had good luck doing clear PPF on all my vehicle lights. It's definitely helped to keep the headlights looking new when having PPF applied to them. At least for me it helped to cut down how worn and faded the headlights became over time.

I prefer to buy the OEM warranty over third party when possible. Sometimes you can find dealers online who sell lots of extended warranties by keeping their markup low. I would try to get a couple quotes from dealers and see who has the best price and terms for you.
