Wow, that’s neet I got my universal wall connector after I got my gen 3, so I just power shared off the gen 3, so I have a breaker box I wouldn’t need if I started out with universal. I wondered what that extra set of connections was for
Your still limited by the total amps from main panel, unless you have more than a 200 amp main panel you could try and use 2, 60 amp circuits, one for each wall connector so you would get the full 48 amps each but you would have to check how many amps your house uses or you could start blowing...
Only one 60 amp breaker from main panel but then splits into 2 60 amp breakers at sub panel which is how Tesla diagrams it. It works. The WiFi keeps the system from pulling more than the total 48 amps available
I ran into one in Elmira Ny and in wasn’t’t well marked, I couldn’t get the adapter out and just used my A2Z adapter, I pushed up but it still didn’t come out, what was I doing wrong?
Yes, it doesn’t seem right that if the Charge point is made to give you 48 amps that you can’t get that, especially if it worked correctly for 6 months, I would check the wiring especially that corroded ground and make sure all the wires are torqued correctly
I had that done, about same distance and it was around $1700.00 in Ma. The wire he used was # 4, three wire cable at $10.00 a ft. Don’t know what Ford allows, didn’t have install deal when I got my 23 lightning
