I just completed a 4000 mile trip from Arizona to Iowa to Texas to Arizona. I preplanned the trip using ABRP and at each stop used reset and deleted the current stop. Then the route began from there. It worked fairly well, but I didn't use ABRP for leg to leg, I used primairly Google Maps...

This won't help you for this trip but I really like the phone as a key app but was afraid of your situation. So I purchased one of those protective pouches and put my key fab in it and hit it in my truck. So if my phone stops working, I just have to remember my lock code.

The car play suggestion caught my attention. I have Aladdin Connect on my iphone and can use it to open my garage doors. However, it doesn't show up on my truck car play menu. Anyone know what determines what apps will show up on the truck car play? Some do some don't.

I read a lot of posts about issues with the 12v battery. Since these have been in use for a few years (like forever) why are they such a problem in Ford EV's? Fortunately, I have not experienced a problem, but am perplexed by the issues they seem to cause.

Follow up ... I went to the dealer again today and was told this time that they are working to get set up with IRS. They should have my form to me in 30 days. The didn't explain how they've been selling EV's all year and didn't seem to know about this. Surprise Ford in Surprise Arizona.

After reading this I checked with my Insurance company (State Farm) and they did offer the device for free. I ordered one and just received it today. I know there are some skeptics but if State Farm is willing to provide it, I think I have more to gain than to lose. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just curious .... I have a 23 Lariat ER and my latest software update shows as 23-PU113-UNX-DC. How are you getting an update #6.14..0?

I have the same problem. I always have to push the button a second time. I find the same issue with locking the doors. The first time I touch the button I get nothing. The second touch locks the doors. Ford is teaching patience and persistence.
