Hoping that this would be final update but....
Vehicle was delivered via roll off trailer. Had to stop driver from backing off so running boards didn't hit the wheel fender on trailer. Took a bit of back and forth and a couple of planks and the truck was off safely. So this vehicle was...
Update.....Getting Closer....VIN 28668 is at the dealership in MD. Arrived yesterday. Now has to be checked, prepped and then delivery scheduled. No to mention get paperwork corrected or redone with Ford Corp and Credit.
Here is NJs...this is on top of the normal registration fee that based on vehicle class and/or GVWR.
Electric Vehicle Fee
Under New Jersey law effective July 1, 2024, zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) are subject to an annual fee in addition to the existing registration fee. The additional fee...
Well...nothing from dealer on the new options I presented but I did hear from the on the original replacement (sitting in Dearborn with VIN ending in 28668) and the replacement to the replacement (appeared to be in CA VIN ending in 14223). Both are supposedly in route to the dealer but no ETA...
@Pioneer74 One last one...I promise (for today anyway.LOL) Saw this one with a 3-4 week Delivery on website and is an exact match. Usually the 3-4 week ones don't have a VIN. This one does and when I put in the order tracker, it says it has shipped on 12/12. Here is VIN. 1FT6W3L70RWG30338 Thank...
Agree. Sometimes better off not know than dealing with old intel! Thanks for checking. I checked on the same order tracking before posting VINs for Pioneer74. That gave me the idea that these may be available to grab, Now need to guide dealer without giving up source.
@Pioneer74. Thank...
The other alternative is to wait 3-4 weeks as it appears there is a group coming available that are Avalanche instead of Blue but same options plus wheel locks. No VINs available on Ford site for those yet though.
Not sure if you saw original posts but vehicle was being delivered to my driveway (dealer is 180 miles away). Once in driveway, truck would not function. You can read previous post for whole story...but yes, including the initial payment on signing...just made payment #3. Ford and/or dealer...
Don't think this is a dealer issue. There were very few trucks around with same config and Ford rep told dealer they had vehicle in Dearborn that they could ship. And to move on, would have to unwind my current deal which I may not be able to replicate given current programs, etc.
Update! Still no truck! Apparently on to truck #3 as the replacement seems not to be available to ship. Supposedly found another truck but from what I can tell based on the VIN, the vehicle went into production back on 5/28/2024 with a "built" date of 7/22/2024. Not sure where this vehicle...
Nothing good to report. Looks like it won't happen until 2025. No one that is communicating with me, aside from this forum, seems to have any idea where the vehicle is or when it will be delivered.
Happy New Year all!!
UPDATE!! Well at least on the original truck! Finally got through to the servicing dealer and they advised that the truck had just left to go back to selling dealer.
After the previously reported fix attempts failed, a Ford engineer had heard that another dealer had a similar issue and that...
So if I use the IT side of my brain and apply similar methods as we do at work…
Never be bleeding edge. Allow major feature updates to be out in the wild for at least a month. Allow regular updates ie monthly Microsoft to be out for week before applying.
So what is the recommended time frame...
Thank you very much for this and the sticker. The one I was provided is a scanned version that was not easily readable.
So it appears to still be in Dearborn or would this not be updated do to plant closure and it could be somewhere else?
I hope it has been there for QC but 2 months is a lot...
