Bought my Lightning October 2024 and received my adapter last week. I did have an order in for my Mach-e that I placed a while back, right after announced, but they cancelled that and Created a new order number when I switched to the Lightning.
Happy to have it, opens up a ton of options!
Several long months later, my truck is back from the body shop. A little over $18k in repair costs, luckily everything was covered by the trucking companies insurance.
Happy to say they did a fantastic job and even modified the pro grill to add the light bar back the way I had it.
I also had...
Happy to help, you can DM me if you want and I can try to help with any specific questions.
I had to pull 4 new wires and install the pins in the connectors. It was a pain but I have some tips to make it easier.
Skip anything in the passenger side harness connections, that’s just extra steps...
Noticed one of my dimensions had a broken reference.. the charging pad was off center as a result That will drive my OCD crazy.. So I updated my settings and I'm printing a new one now. the prototype in the pictures above is up for grabs if anyone wants it! Free for first taker, charging pad...
Love the logo, figured I would add it to a remix of this https://makerworld.com/en/models/445784#profileId-352271 for a MagSafe charging stand that I made:
Why is everyone needing to drive with their door open? I guess with 360 cam option at least I don’t see a reason, maybe without the mirror cams there’s a case to be had somehow.
I have a 23 Pro ER and it’s fantastic, I don’t personally miss anything and like that it’s the fastest version of the truck, most powerful/lightest variant! Added the LC/ACC and rainsense myself. Like @Azgunguy said it wasn’t too bad to do the install, just have to follow directions and be...
Yes, I have them powered off of the factory amp. I was doing it in stages as well. I’m very happy with them, they are much more clear, especially at low volume. I can hear detail and crisp vocals at 1-3 volume level now where I couldn’t make out words at all before. I’m sure an amp would be a...
The HS10 draws less than 15 amps, so it shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll keep an eye on it, but so far no issues.
I put it behind the rear seat and it easily fit. I will post a pic of the location, but there’s a few YouTube videos of ICE F-150 installs that are identical to our trucks. The...
I do enjoy it haha, building what I want is my hobby. I may halve also made it more difficult than needed, but also was part of the specific speaker kit that I bought.
I generally only used ABRP when I didn’t know the chargers on my route and none of the navigation apps had EV chargers. Now all the EV apps have chargers, I think Apple Maps does just as good, if not better, at finding chargers than ABRP. Apple is tied directly into the truck’s efficiency...
I used ABRP for about a year when I first started driving EVs. I haven’t used it since. Plug share and learning the expected ranges etc made ABRP kind of irrelevant for me, I never did paid but don’t expect to find much value that Apple Maps or google maps don’t have now with their EV integration.
Well making lemons out of lemonade and taking advantage of some really good prices on Crutchfield for Black Friday I decided to upgrade my audio. I went with a kicker KS build, wasn’t going for audio file status, just a nice balanced upgrade with more clarity, separation, and bass than stock...
Yeah, it was i81, and it’s the second time a truck swerved into my lane when I was already next to them in the month that I’ve owned my truck. The first time I made it by inches, this time I wasn’t so lucky. Not sure if I blend in or something, this is the first white vehicle I’ve owned and I’ve...
Haven’t read thru everything so sorry if I am repeating. But I’m currently installing solar in my house in VA - waiting for final connection now.
I did a quick search on google and it looks like Duke Energy in NC offers net metering which means you don’t need a battery at all. That will save...
