Anybody had something like this? Grocery store run this afternoon after full charge from Saturday night; wasn't Sparky's first trip today, actually his third short mileage run for the day. After a brief rest in the parking lot, the final trip home registered 64 (percent?) power available vs. a full 100% battery, estimated 225 mile range.

The only time I've ever seen the truck show reduced power is in normal circumstances, i.e. long trips where the battery gets much lower in the bottom third of SOC (usually less than 25% availability, though this is just anecdotal from memory).

Any thoughts? Happy Sunday!

Chilly temps with low SOC's have caused mine to drop to 95% but that was with an SOC around / under 50%

Mine went to 64 the last time a module failed in the battery. Any other warning indicators, either the check engine light or on the app?

Mine dropped to exactly 64% power reduction a month ago; searched here and found a couple others also had it happen and it disappeared after a day or so. Mine was back to normal overnight and no issues since.

I'm under the impression that number appears when the truck decides the front motor is not available for some reason. I haven't seen it myself though, just read about it.

I had a drop down to 91 the other day, it was pretty cold, around 30*F, and I had about 30-40% battery.

This seems to happen occasionally when the modules update. In most cases, the problem goes away after 10-15 minutes and a restart since the module has completed its update. Since the update does not require immobilization, they are generally applied a bit after a startup and complete once the truck is shut down. If your stop is short, this can happen since the update hasn't completed yet. Let us know if the problem goes away on its own. Usually it does.

Thanks all for the responses. Many short mileage trips this week and haven't seen the power drop again. Fingers crossed!

If it happens again, display the power distribution graphic on the dashboard. The one time it happened to me, you could see that no power was being sent to one of the motors. I chalk it up to its electronics failing to initialize properly. I've only seen it once in 69k miles on my truck.
