I get that problem once in a while, it usually is the charger needs rebooting, so unplug or circuit breaker off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on. At least my old Leviton J1772 charger resets.
I tried it with the free into offers, and I even living just west of Boston find that major highways are often only partially mapped. Like Rt 2 from Boston area to Gardner, its about 80% there dropping out in city areas. Horrible. Then worse yes the rediculous lane maintaining smart cruise...
I agree. Also having a lightning flash. I am looking forward to this tiny EV to replace the flash. Hopefully, soon as I am very retired and downsizing, everything
My 2024 flash has gotten recently 352 mile gom range when charged to 100%. My summer last 600 + miles on one of the trip odometer shows my summer mi/kwh at 2.8 miles. I drive mostly local suburban roads with no excess loads and most often not using AC ( except using it maybe 200 of the 600...
That is great for EVs. Sure Americas current climate is preventing many scientific advances from reaching the market, but heck , when the Japanese cars came into the market it forced American manufacturers to either get moving, or get out. I would buy a Chinese EV no problem.
During the winter I charge at home to 100% daily, but when steady 50 degrees or above come in, then I do 90%. My J1772 (20 amp 240 vac) only charges at 4500 watts / @ 10mph . So it is not doing a fast charge.
I found a standard front hitch bolts on fine to my 24 lightning. I cut a hole in the front deployable air dam and created brackets so it is permanantly in the down position. Yes less clearance but not any less clearance than fischer plow mounts I have seen on other F150s. I just unbolted the...
I had same issue same issue with same issue with my f same issue with my f150 lightning rear hitch. I made my own extension and then purchased a front hitch which works great. I now have plowed 1.5 winters in s. NH area with the snow sport hd. It is good price and works very satisfactory.
We here in a northern Massachusetts town, with municiple power company, were warned about 6 years ago, our rates were temporarily going from about .14$ per kwh to about .25$ per kwh. Well lo and behold about 3 years ago, the rates were reduced to about .18$ per kwh. So they actually did restore...
Rants are okay, but supply real info. This math is simple. How many miles did you do in the same period, how many kwhs does the app say you charged with, what is your total per kwh power rate, and presto you will get 2 things out of those numbers, 1 your average miles per kwh, and the cost it...
I remember a few years ago driving from NY to Illinois on I90 towing a small 1200# trailer with a Subaru Forester 5 speed manual transmission. We ran into some pretty nasty lines of thunderstorms which after driving through NY on the flats at about 65 mph (pretty good for the Forester and...
I decided to fit the deployable air dam onto the hitch. Sure it reduces ground clearance "permanently" , but if I think its getting in the way it is easily removed. There is now @6" road clearance from the lowest part of the air dam to the road. I did not notice much difference in the...
Power was simple- Snowsport winch to raise plow has 2 wires. Power (12V) and control switch wires. They are only long enough for a front mount and I had to extend them for my initial rear mount. Anyway the 12 V power cord went directly to the 12V battery and was bolted onto the normal battery...
