  1. Recall Campaign 24S76 / 25V341: Upper control arm ball joint nut replacement Issued 5/27/25

I will but if I have to drive it to the dealer I’d like to check the torque before I do! Do you know what it’s supposed to be?
  2. Recall Campaign 24S76 / 25V341: Upper control arm ball joint nut replacement Issued 5/27/25

The nut was different? Did they add a cotter pin or make it a locknut?
  3. Recall Campaign 24S76 / 25V341: Upper control arm ball joint nut replacement Issued 5/27/25

Since many seem to not actually have a problem, is there any reason I can't just check if the nut is still there, put a torque wrench on it and check and if OK call it a day? Anyone know what the torque is supposed to be?
  4. Motorcycle Hitch Carrier Setup & Experience

That looks like a ton of fun. I paid the same TEN YEARS AGO for a ZERO FX. Need to look into this company a bit more. FWIW, I still love my Zero. Especially when I'm sitting next to some old, fat dude on a Harley and he makes a lot of noise and I goose it off the line and leave him in the...
  5. Ford (Lectron?) versus A2Z NACS-CCS Adapter

My experience was the opposite: if I remove the NACS plug first the adapter get stuck in the truck. I have never had trouble separating. my experience was the opposite: if I disconnected the Tesla nozzle first I couldn’t get the adapter out of the truck. I didn’t have any trouble separating...
  6. Ford (Lectron?) versus A2Z NACS-CCS Adapter

When I bought my truck (2024 Flash) the Ford adapter, which I believe is a version of the Lectron, wasn't available. I got an A2Z adapter from Canada and (with some quirks) works fine at Tesla Superchargers. I just received an email from Ford that their adapter is available for $200. I can...
  7. I regularly tow a 10k dump trailer with 4000-10000lbs loads - best tow vehicle I've ever owned.

Towed this almost 10 K rig 650 miles no problem! Range does take a MASSIVE hit but I wasn't in a hurry. For what OP is doing it's a perfect rig.
  8. Real-World Home Power Backup Options Using F-150 Lightning

I've been investigating options now for a while. I have a Sol-Ark Inverter that has a "GEN" input and would be perfect for this application. These are the options that the Sol-Ark support gave me: I'm particularly interested in trying option #3 but would love to hear if anyone else has tried...
  9. Real-World Home Power Backup Options Using F-150 Lightning

RE: Lightning and Sol-Ark Generator input: I received an quick, detailed and awesome response from Sol-Ark Support. FWIW here is the options as they laid them out. 1. Understand the "Floating Neutral" A floating neutral means the neutral conductor is not bonded...
  10. Anyone recently buy a 24 flash

I paid 58.8 out the door on 1/16/25. That included taxes, registration in NC and a $699 "VIP" non-optional dealer. Here's my link to a reddit post: Here's the info in detail: NOTE: I think some people are having difficulty getting the dealer to take over the $7,500 Fed EV discount and...
  11. 2023 Lariat vs 2024 Flash - $50K-ish budget - Help me decide?

Yep, $1,200 but hard to find
  12. 2023 Lariat vs 2024 Flash - $50K-ish budget - Help me decide?

This was what sealed the FLASH for me: you could get 9.6kW Pro Power AND Max Tow and still be under 80k MRSP and get the $7,500 tax. Dealer used the $7,500 tax rebate as my down payment on a 72 month 0% so I ended up with almost 18k below MRSP with A plan, Tesla discount 1K, Delete Charger (I...
