I have a similar set up as you, as far as powerboost with2' level, I went with aftermarket wheels and the Ridge Grapplers in 295/60/20. There are many members experiencing the shutter you speak of. I too had the issue before the lift and wheels. I also have an issue with skipping second gear. I...
I have both! The rear bedrug is very reasonable...especially if you order from one of the sponsor vendors and mention your a member here. I purchased most of my upgrades from Alex at Realtruck.
I have a 2" level, 295/60/20 Ridge Grapplers with +20 20x9 aftermarket wheels with the 3.73 rear on the Powerboost. Lost around 2 mpg give or take. Oddly enough, when I use a GPS to clock my speedometer it remained pretty accurate.
I have the same truck with the same ride height sensors. I have the 2" Ready Lift front coil Spacer and have had zero issues. I have after market wheels 20X9 +20 offset (the stock wheels have +44 offset) with the 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. There is a slight rake that is almost unnoticable...
I would go with the Ready Lift 2" level kit if your looking for a spacer lift. I installed it and I'm very happy with the look. It still has a slight rake but not very noticeable.
I was wondering if anyone has attempted a DIY level kit with the powerboost. I need information specifically with the removal of the passenger side strut. I can access two of the top nuts for removal but the third one looks to be in a pretty inaccessible spot with the thick orange cord and...
A lot of variables there...I like the look of the 295/60/20 Hybrid tire. Are you sticking with the stock wheels? If so, you might be able to squeeze a bigger wider tire under the truck. Many have... All depends on the offset of the wheel.
Did you find any info? I'm also considering a +1 offset wheel and a 2" level. I was considering the 295/60/20 Ridge Grappler or Ko2. Would love to know if they will fit.
